Seaview Apartment Westhaven

A good discovery, would stay again!

Pros: Location great, very spacious apartment, comfortable bed, great to have Sky Sports on the tv and well equipped kitchen, two good showers. Bottle of wine and Welsh cakes were a lovely touch.

Cons: No blinds on front bay window, carpets a little tired and it was a bit dusty in places, however we did book very last minute. Two big holes in main bedroom wall!? Could just do with a bit of a spruce up in places, would be happy to stay again!

Had a great stay. Would recommend.

Pros: Very large lounge with comfy sofas and a great view of the sands, sea and life boat station. Kitchen had everything you need. Has a washing machine and tumble dryer. Two bedrooms with comfy beds and two lovely bathrooms.

Cons: The steps to the bedrooms and bathrooms.

Great place to stay whilst working locally

Pros: Nice and spacious, with everything in it you require.

Cons: It was cold when I got in the apartment, for some reason the boiler had been switched off. I reset it and all was fine. Wi-fi doesn’t seem to work in the bedrooms despite there being boosters.

Great stay, will definitely come back.

Pros: The location is superb, and I appreciate being able to get in with the lockbox/key on site. Despite being right on the front, we all slept well because the bedrooms are right at the back and quiet. Well equipped kitchen, all decor and furnishings of a high standard. Thank you for the binoculars too!

Cons: Bed 2 could be better.

Almost 10 out of 10....

Pros: Amazing location in a wonderful seaside town. We love Aberdyfi. This apartment is very spacious, ideally sized for our family of 3. In fact we enjoyed our holiday so much we have already booked again for summer 2025 albeit in one of the other Westhaven apartments...

Cons: I think the finer details let the overall score from hitting a 10. Cleaning ahead of our arrival was 'ok' but we did need to ask the owner for some mould to be attended to on the bedroom walls. We also found the cooker/oven was out of order and we needed the owner to send out an electrician for a burnt out switch to be replaced. I must say that once we raised both issues, they were attended to as soon as possible and remedied for us. Finally, we were blessed with amazing weather all week, but none of the windows in the lounge have blinds for shade or open to let air in and this made the room very difficult to relax in on an evening as it was too warm. Perhaps some fans would be useful if windows cannot be opened for fresh air?

Pros: What was not to like. Beautiful location with amazing views. Great apartment and facilities. Very helpful and informative hosts. Will definitely be back and stay longer this time 😊

Lovely apartment. Very central. Great views.

Pros: Location couldn’t be any more central. Parking permit was very welcome. As was the bottle of wine and cake left by the host on arrival. Very well appointed. Very clean. Fabulous views across the estuary. Flat two is the best because you get the sea view without having to climb too many stairs.

Cons: Instructions for the lock box could have been clearer. We couldn’t operate it. No clue to which of the three lockboxes belonged to the flat. Wi-Fi doesn’t extend to the bedrooms.

Pros: Location apartment was beautiful and spacious second floor bedrooms very quiet at back of property so away from road lovely views over beach car park pass was a added bonus as in write up didn't say extras such as beach stuff although was February were fab to use

Cons: Maybe new pillows in back room that was it, pictures don't do it enough justice
