Lake view Romantic retreat

Lovely location, warm cosy atmosphere

Pros: The property was lovely, it was so warm and cosy, when we got there the fire was on. The view is beautiful and it was the perfect place to relax and unwind.

Cons: Nothing it was lovely, we did find parking the car a bit tricky as we have a low car and the ramp is quite steep but that’s it.

Idyllic Rural Retreat

Pros: First thing to say if you are looking for luxury, then don't book here. If however you are truly looking for a cosy, wonderful, rural retreat them definitely book here. Facilities are excellent, comfortable bed. The water pressure isn't great for the shower, but you are literally in the middle of nowhere so to be expected.

Cons: Lack of lighting available when parking your vehicle in the dark

Pros: Very cosy and tidy entrance to property was easy and the views are beautiful.

Excellent Maggie is a fantastic host

Pros: Maggie is a wonderful lady, so welcoming & pleasant. We are really happy that we stayed at the cottage it was homely and very clean. Wonderful views & red kites flying overhead. Wifi, tea coffee, towels, tv, it is very relaxing & our tomtom took us straight to the door, driving through the narrow lanes, seeing wildlife & sheep. Maggie's hospitality was part of our stay. We highly recommend the annexe to the cottage, if you want to escape from fast life, we were refreshed after staying. Thank you Maggie it was exactly what we needed.

Lovely stay very quiet and peaceful don't miss out

Pros: Amazing apartment, very cosy and homely with everything you need. Beautiful views of the lake and very peaceful and quiet. Very clean and bed very comfortable. Kitchen space available to cook own food and enjoy the setting. About 20 mins drive from Aberystwyth and about 10 minutes from Devils Bridge, also check our Haford Estate nearby. I didn't meet Maggie but she was available on messenger if I needed anything. Would loved to have stayed longer.

Pros: Maggie was a wonderful host, easy to communicate with, happy to chat while there but sensitive to leave us alone as well. The cottage was beautifully prepared, warm, very well equipped, and in stunning surroundings. We would certainly recommend it..
