Snug Oak Hut with a view on a Welsh Hill Farm

Magical hut, perfect getaway for a couple with a furr friend.

Pros: We went for 3 days, it had the most amazing view to wake up to. The bed was the coziest! We will be back.

Cons: I have nothing bad to say about the property.

It was a lovely cabin, super cozy. We kept it warm with the log burner, the bed was super comfy.

Pros: It was clean, spacious, all necessities were provided! Nothing to slate at all! It was perfect

Beautiful inside and out, perfect for stargazing

Pros: I needed a break away from life- this is exactly what I got! Feel like you’re in the middle of no where in a valley- so peaceful and natural. Just me and the dog, and the cosiest hut. The stars were so clear too.

Cons: The kitchen tap was leaking which i’d seen in a previous review. The fridge being outside was a bit difficult when it was cold and raining outside. Could also really benefit from a curtain on the main doors as people walking to get their horses could see me anytime getting changed etc.

Dog-friendly, peaceful location in a snug Shepherd's Hut.

Pros: We liked the peaceful farm position. The location of the accommodation. Dark sky(stars). Great log-burner; easy to light and very snug and warm. Dog friendly.

A beautiful and quiet haven of peace and a break from life's hubbub!

Pros: We both absolutely loved the Shepherd's Hut. It is situated in a quiet part of the farm, with a beautiful view of the countryside and is quite private. We loved being able to see the birdlife and to feed the smaller birds. The hut is small but has all that one needs for self-catering, and the bed is extremely comfortable. We loved that the hosts are eco-friendly and committed to sustainable tourism. It was also magical to sit out at night under a dark sky and view the stars, after a barbecue dinner. Great place!

Cons: The only fridge is quite small and located outside of the hut for space reasons. Whilst it is adequate for a few items, it is a bit of a problem to get to it when it is windy and raining! The folding chairs are also somewhat uncomfortable (although, once again practical for storage), so it is not really feasible to read a book for long period outside of the bed!

Pros: The view is gorgeous, and lovely that the hut looks on to the horse field. The bbq hut is great. The overall surroundings are beautiful!

Cons: When we arrived, we were disappointed that the images shown on the booting is not what the hut looks like now. There are lovely features that have since been added, such as the arch leading to the hut, but there was no duck pond, outside the hut has quite a lot of weeds. Maybe putting more up to date photos would be beneficial. Some things in the hut were not very clean, such as the toaster.

Amazing stay will return again .
