Perfect new years stay & the hosts couldn’t do enough for us

High standard accommodation, clean and tidy

Pros: The property was immaculate and beautifully presented. There was fantastic communication between ourselves and our host. We felt very much looked after and would highly recommend for others to come and stay too.

A quiet retreat 😊

Pros: Beautifully appointed cottage. Very secluded, quiet and very peaceful. Dark skies and rural setting but with all mod cons. Despite its quiet location it is only 15 mins from Ludlow and 10 mins from gorgeous pub!

A perfect spot to get away

Pros: A beautiful little spot in a lovely setting, away from the hustle and bustle. A wonderfully appointed space, built for comfort and convenience. Everything you could need, and tastefully done, too. Great communication from the host, and a guide full of useful information.

Perfect Shropshire Stay

Pros: We booked this little gem as we were guests at a wedding at nearby Delbury Hall. The host, Amanda, had given us perfect directions and they were needed as the accommodation was at the top of a track through some fields. The view when we reached the accommodation was stunning with excellent views over the Shropshire countryside. Inside the accommodation was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. The bed downstairs was so comfortable and we couldn't have asked for anything better.

Cons: Only a very minor point but I think the checkout time of 1000 is slightly early?

Peaceful & Lovely little hideaway😀

Pros: A lovely relaxing stay at the Hen. Our host Amanda is a lovely lady, very helpful and friendly. We had a lovely time, very chilled, lovely surroundings and great peaceful place to stay. Amenities are great, tastefully decorated throughout, milk and fresh laid eggs left in the fridge. The view is stunning, and as we we're locals, coming an hour away from home for a little R & R, it felt like we we're 100s of miles away. Just what the doctor ordered.

Cons: There wasn't really anything we didn't like. And we don't wish to be a negative, just for ease of comfort. A little stool maybe would be handy in the top room for ease of sitting more comfortably while using the dresser for cosmetics/hair etc. But it was nothing we couldn't work around, and it would not stop us returning. We most definitely will.😀😀😀

Pros: Exceptional location, surrounded by nature but ideally located only 15 minutes from Ludlow. The accommodation was of a high standard, and very comfortable and to top it off very friendly and helpful host

Perfect accommodation

Pros: We stayed at the Hen Den on a business trip and it was perfect. Amanda was quick to answer any questions that we had. Directions to the property were really helpful due to its location and the views, sunsets and surroundings are so lovely.
