Quarry View Garden Studio in Shrewsbury with Parking

Great location for town centre

Pros: Great location, stunning outlook. Warm and comfortable.

Cons: Arrived at night, there was no lighting so it was difficult to access the property, bring a torch! Booking procedure via Effective Stays was involved and inconvenient and included added cost, would not book an Effective Stays property again.

Very relaxing and beautiful setting.

Pros: Perfect location and beautiful views, so comfortable.

Cons: The property was perfectly set out had everything you needed, so easy to get into town, on the river. The most beautiful garden, with fantastic apple tree, we made apple sauce. It was the perfect weekend break, definitely coming back.

Overall we had a great 3 night stay at Quarry View and will consider staying again.

Pros: very good location with easy access to town centre via river path. great outlook over a garden. Airy, clean, comfortable accommodation. Great to have the parking. Plenty of eateries in town.

Cons: Path through garden to access property was difficult due to overgrown trees/shrubs so walked over wet grass, not ideal. Would think anyone with mobility issues might struggle, no mention of this when booking. No shelf in bathroom for toiletries. No drawer/shelf in bedroom for clothes. Not enough work top in kitchen especially if you want to make your own meals.

We will be definitely recommending this stay.

Riverside luxury

Pros: Wonderful location by the river Severn and a short walk along to the Boathouse Pub/Restaurant. Very tastefully done. It was lovely to sit on the decking and enjoy listening to the bells ringing at St Chad's church.

Cons: There wasn't anything we didn't like.

Overall, great loved it.

Pros: Location was great, instructions to park car and get keys all good. Place was lovely, bed comfy.

Cons: Kitchen section could be a little better. Main issue when we arrived, I noticed a smell from the bathroom - a little like stagnant water. It was OK after opening windows, but it was still there when you were in bathroom - could be the shower section. Also when opening the doors the locks were a bit tricky - got the knack after but instruction to open one door may have made more sense.

Pros: Perfect for weekend break. Lovely studio in very central location next to the Seven, ideal if walkingthe Seven Wy. Comfortable and clean, with a short walk to the town.

Cons: If you want somewhere to cook for yourself, it's not ideal,but it is serviceable. We weren't planning on cooking, as there were a wealth of good eating places on our doorstep.

Pros: The location was excellent close to the river and amenities. The cabin was beautiful and set in amazing gardens 😍 Bars restaurants and shops were close by and easily accessible.

Cons: Very poor Internet WiFi reception. The bathroom lacked towel rail and shelves for toiletries. As my husband has mobility issues parking inside the gates instead of at the house would have been made carrying cases easier.

Pros: The accommodation was nice. It was clean and had most of what we needed.

Cons: The bed was small. My husband is 6ft 4. The TV was small and the chairs for watching the TV weren't very comfortable.

Great place to stay in a great location.

Pros: Location was excellent, next to the river and easy walk to town centre. Comfortable bed and good en-suite. Great decking area and seats for a coffee/wine. Hosts were very friendly and welcoming.
