Pros: Very good internally, made good use of space so felt roomy for 2. Comfortable cottage, parking space unusual in such central location. Great for shops, footpaths & beach while in quiet location-trains did not disturb us.

Pros: Fantastic location, great facilities and welcoming host! Great to have some local supplies there when we arrived.

A wonderful experience and a relaxing week's stay in Western Wales.

Pros: A beautiful cottage just a 100 yards from the promenade, 2 double and one single bedroom allowed from plenty of space in the cottage. A full range of kitchen equipment, such as pots and pans, knives and cutting boards were provided in the cottage, all you needed was some ingredients from one of the shops in the village, and dinner is sorted out well. And if nobody wants to do the cooking, there are several restaurants and cafes just nearby, so perfect for a holiday. The beach in the estuary is at the promenade, just a stone throw away. Obviously, the weather in Wales can be rather wet at times but the odd rain did not dampen our enjoyment. Internet worked smoothly, no problems at all. Local transport is fine, even trains (less than a mile to the station) every two hours to rest of the world. Overall a wonderful experience and a relaxing week's stay in Western Wales.

Cons: The railway line runs directly behind the house but the trains are only every other hour and you quickly don't notice them anymore. The parking space in from of the house is quite small, most modern cars would not fit there but a parking license is provided, so other car parks are available. Aberdyfi is quite remote, so to go bigger shops it is a bit of a journey but for holidays perfect.
