Great location to explore Abergynolwyn and surrounding area.

Pros: The location was perfect for what we wanted, which was to discover walks straight from the house and also to access Cader Idris easily (a short drive away). Tywyn beach, Castell y Bere and Ynys Hir were lovely and the toots from the Talyllyn railway were evocative! The summit of Cader Idris was amazing despite the bitter wind (in June!). The house had a handy cloakroom area for wet gear when required and was spacious enough for everyone to find their own space. We had a great week.

Cons: Nothing in the control of the owner- the weather was very cold for June so we did put the heating on one evening for a couple of hours. I couldnt understand why the street lights were on all night in such a rural area - not a fan of light pollution.
