We loved our stay!

Pros: This place is beautiful! Stayed here as 2 family combined as 4 adults and 6 kids and was still plenty of room! The house is huge and so is the garden so the kids have loads of room to play outside! There is a huge hot tub that fit all of us in with plenty of room although the bubbles didnt work this didnt bother us at it was still lovely to sit in! Gutted to had to leave and the kids also wished we could stay another night!

Cons: Id say the only things to be aware of is you dont get sent the key code before hand you have to ring once your there to get it but they answered straight away. Also theres plenty of plates and glasses etc but no cutlery so if planning to cook then bring your own cutlery :)

My experience

Pros: We loved the house .only inside though.The rooms were spacious and clean.Good linen supplied .Hot tub was clean and warm enough.

Cons: At the time of booking it was showing that it is a farm house and the entire property is for us,so I decided this one will be perfect place to enjoy with kids.however it is not a detached house ,it is a semidetached property and there are people live next door..so keep in mind about the noise what you make.The family stayed next door came to me and said we are too loud especially the kids.I know it's true but we are on a vacation and went there to enjoy with kids to have some laughter and good memories Secondly ,the outside facilities, means the gazebo and the garden chair & cushions were very untidy and dusty. Finally ,the outside gas grill unit was very dirty and left uncleaned from the previous use therefore we did not use it.

Lovely stay. I would definitely be back.

Pros: Plenty space, big garden,the hot tube was amazing.

Cons: Not clean enough. They don’t answer the emails and not very helpful by phone. I ask for a late check out( didn’t even need at the end), no one answered back.

Exceptional place for breakfast with family

Pros: A Wonderful Stay in Aberystwyth – Highly Recommended! We had an absolutely fantastic stay at the cottage in Aberystwyth. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Mr. Davis ( Owner) and Rob ( Staff ) who were both incredibly friendly, helpful, and professional throughout our visit. The cottage itself was cozy, spotless, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The setting was peaceful and picturesque—perfect for unwinding and enjoying the beauty of the Welsh countryside. Mr. Davis and Rob truly went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. Their hospitality made all the difference, and we felt right at home. I can’t recommend this place highly enough—whether you’re visiting for a quiet break or to explore the area, this cottage is a perfect choice. We’ll definitely be back!

Cons: All good

Very pleasant stay for a large group of friends.

Pros: The property was large and tidy, with a few bedrooms. We had enough room to accommodate 12 people and large communal space. Bathrooms were also clean. The hot tub was ready for our arrival and water was hot. The property also had a gas BBQ.

Cons: We tried contacting the hosts weeks in advance to ensure that we would get the big farm house, they did not respond to written messages, however responded to a phone call and confirmed the reservation. The hosts contacted us last minute the night before the trip and said that the previous occupiers had decided to stay for longer, so we could not have the large farm house for 12 people we booked originally and our hosts could provide us with alternative accomodation of 2 smaller neighboring cottages in the same location. This made me feel very nervous as the group leader, but we agreed and went ahead with it. The two cottages were literally next door to each other fitted to the same standard and also the was a door connecting the gardens, therefore we did not feel disconnected as a group. Overall we have had a very pleasant experience, the accomodation did not let us down, we had a good time.

Pros: Everyone was happy with the accommodation. The only difficulty was getting to the location, but that is Google Maps problem.

Cons: Lack of big pots and pans for cooking.

Pros: Location and the staff were excellent. Facilities were excellent. Only a 10 minute drive to Aberystwyth itself. Would definitely recommend for groups and families.

Cons: There was a last minute change to a smaller cottage, still plenty of room and a personal hottub was provided. Also there were lots of spiders in the bedroom on the ground floor.

Great value, lovely, cosy cottage

Pros: The location was great, fairly secluded except for the luxury cabins just the other side of the fence. Big garden that would be lovely for games and a BBQ had we have been staying longer than 1 night. Huge hot tub to accommodate our large group. Loved the cosy feel of the cottage, very cosy. Would be amazing in winter too with the log burners and huge fireplace in the living room

Cons: Shower upstairs flitted from hot to cold, cottage could have been cleaned to a higher standard. Lawn was mowed prior to arrival - but clippings weren't cleaned up - didn't affect us at all but if travelling young children that would have inevitably been playing on the grass it would have been annoying. Patio furniture also not cleaned off before we arrived, lots of debris and dust that we had to clean ourselves. Bubbles only worked in 1 corner of the hottub

Pros: We as a family loved our stay, definitely recommend more photos uploaded to here as there is a huge double hot tub that I didn’t see in the photo but did last minute in the description, also we were happily surprised that there is a double bedroom and disabled shower room on the main floor (come in handy for my sister and mother) The bedrooms are lovely. Better than we expected, it’s a lovely quiet area with plenty of space, storage, garden is lovely.
