Home from home

Pros: Can't fault the house. It was absolutely beautiful. Everything you needed. A place like this makes your weekend break a home from home. Peaceful and warm. Loved it .

Beautiful cottage in lovely Riverside setting

Pros: Cosy and well equipped. Beautiful setting by the river and steam railway.

Beautiful, clean and great facilities

Pros: Extremely clean, water pressure and temperature of shower and bath were brilliant. Spacious and easy to find, close to shops but need to drive. Had great facilities,everything you need was there.

Wonderful Getaway Location

Pros: We were surprised by the amount of thought put into our stay, from the simple things like milk, tea and coffee to the towels, it helps make the holiday easier. We also enjoyed exploring the grounds and the little summer houses. We went in May but the gardens were coming to life with flowers. The facilities are excellent within the house itself and were greatly enjoyed.

Cons: Unfortunately we didn't manage to see the steam engine leaving from the station, but aside from that there was nothing to fault with the house at all.

A hidden gem! We had a lovely, chilled family break in this beautiful cottage. Very reasonably priced. Would recommend

Fantastic cottage, with everything you might need and more

Pros: We loved everything about this cottage, the location was great, loved the garden and the river and the patio area. Beautiful views. It was tastefully decorated, very well equipped. Absolutely stunning, we all loved it. The log fire on the night was just perfect. We met one of the hosts and he was lovely. Our children loved petting dog Betty. Couldn't wish for more. I would highly recommend.

Cons: - pillows were not very comfortable - first aid box would have been useful, as my friend cut her finger and we needed some plasters
