The perfect rural escape if you're looking to get away from it all

Pros: I loved the rural location - in the middle of nowhere, the perfect escape. The property was cosy and comfy. Pete & Theresa were very accommodating hosts. We don't have dogs but the property is ideal for furry ones.

Cons: There was a miscommunication on the hot tub in that it wasn't set up for us the first night - we'd messaged via Booking.com but this message hadn't reached Pete & Theresa, so do ensure if you wish it to be set up by the time you arrive that you message in advance via Sykes Cottages.

Complete relaxation

Pros: Home from home. Peaceful and beautiful . Everything you could want to get away from a busy life . The cottage has everything you need , great for dogs too , safe and secure . Fabulous hosts very helpful .

Pros: Theresa and Pete were there to welcome me. Both very welcoming and chatty. A pint of milk in the fridge waiting which is always handy. The cottage is beautiful, very well equipped, clean and very comfortable. Location is absolutely stunning with the horses and miles of scenery. Had a lovely relaxing stay, I'll definitely be back.

Great accommodation in in a amazing location and Theresa and Pete did everything to make our stay fabulous, despite bein

Pros: very friendly welcome, beautifully appointed accommodation and breathtaking views. Graceful horses and their foals and a fabulous hot-hot to help linger in the evenings. A very good location to enjoy Shropshire with it’s quirky towns and villages and stunning countryside.

Cons: Beryl , a surrogate mare, was 3 days overdue but still hadn’t delivered her foal before we left so now we have to stay glued to Facebook!😂
