Chapel House Cottage

A cosy cottage with beautiful surroundings.

Pros: The house had a nice modern open plan and a cosy wood fire, which was perfect for the evening. Comfortable beds and lovely views. The area around the house was beautiful and very peaceful.

Cons: Both shower controls were very hard (stiff) to adjust to get to the right temperature. WiFi was not working at all throughout our stay. (An engineer was booked by the helpful management company, but not in time for our stay, we were offered a free night for our next stay) We were asked to strip all used beds. I would expect this to be part of the cleaning service.

Lovely, quiet, comfy

Pros: The cottage was roomy and well equipped. Very quiet location, yes the dogs barked next door sometimes but they didn't disturb us much

Cons: Better details how to get the heating to work. We had heat the first day but the radiators didn't come on again. We don't like to fiddle with switches. We were warm enough though and there are portable heaters

Perfect location , lovely interior,would definitely return &recommend.

Pros: Location was perfect for the Builth showground . Spotlessly clean , with nice quality linen .A teapot would be a handy addition.

Cons: Next doors dog barking was a bit annoying. The tv was a bit faffy with all the remotes which didn’t connect very easily.

Pros: The house is just gorgeous it has everything you need. Very comfortable and the open plan is brilliant if you have a group getting together.

Cons: The parking as we were on motorbikes the car park is gravel. No problem if your in a car.

Perfect secluded Hideaway Holiday

Pros: The whole cottage was lovely and spacious! Every room was clean and tidy. We loved having the window door open so coming in and out was easy when prepping the food for the BBQ.The dinner table was perfect and the house was cosy when playing card games. We loved that we were away from the village but close to a main road so getting to places were easy. Really recommend and definitely would come back again.

Pros: This is a great place for a family group and was reasonably well situated for our trip to the Elan Valley. There's lots of communal space for cooking, eating and relaxing together and also plenty of space for cars. The trampoline in the garden, the ginger cat and the 3 sheep all an extra bonus for the kids. .

Cosy, comfy cottage in the Welsh countryside

Pros: We had a lovely family break at Chapel House Cottage. It is relatively remote but that means it is lovely and peaceful. We would definitely return.

Nice property

Pros: Great communication from the owner. Lovely and quiet location. Milk in the fridge on arrival, along with a bottle of wine and cake. Lovely gesture. Loads of plates/dishes and glassware. Also plastic cups/plates for the little 1s. Was a great 2 night stay and communication from the owner to check everything was OK. Thanks again

Excellent base for families

Pros: We were 2 families with young children away for NYE. The house is just what we wanted with a well equipped kitchen, comfy beds and Wi-Fi.
