Pros: Beautiful location. Cosy clean comfy cottage with everything you need. Very friendly and helpful locals in pub next door.

Cons: Shower whilst good didn't drain well. Microwave suitable plates would be handy although kitchen equipment was good. Need a new kettle (drippy when poured) and tin opener.

Bliss in a stunning location

A really enjoyable stay in this lovely part of Wales

Pros: The cottage was clean comfortable and cosy and the location was excellent, a few yards from a lovely country pub with wonderful views of the hills, This time of year was especially nice (in April) seeing all the newborn lambs in the field. It was right next to the River Dee and there were lots of great walks around the local area. The shop was a short drive away in Corwen, and within easy driving distance of Llangollen. A great base for an exploring holiday and good value for money

Cons: Although there was a well equipped kitchen, the kettle was a bit dangerous because it didnt pour correctly so boiling water did splash. Also the microwave seemed to trip out the fuse box so we stopped using it.

Can’t wait to go back!

Pros: I love the location and the cottage itself is small, cozy and quaint. All self catering facilities available.

Home from home only in a stunning location

Pros: It’s a quaint and cozy little cottage. We love the location as been visiting Carrog for over 50 years. The Grouse pub almost opposite the cottage, is friendly with wonderful food options and a great view of the river if sitting outside on the large raised beer garden.

Cons: Nothing really. The stairs are steep, but that’s to be expected and is advised in the full description of the property.

Great stay. We would definitely come back.

Blissfully quiet 🤫 n a fabulous location.

Pros: I loved how quaint it was… so cosy too. Everything was covered right down to rubber gloves and fairy liquid! Bed was really comfortable too. The location was perfect for us right by the river and plenty of places to walk. The Grouse Pub is amazing with great food and outdoor area overlooking the river. Corwen just 2 miles away and Llangollen about 5 miles away.

Cons: Nothing!.. it was perfect!
