Clun cottage

Pros: Lovely cottage in Clun, hiking from the front door to Shropshire Way and Offas Dyke. Everything you'd require with excellent cooking pans to make your meals. Wood burner is great to have after a wet walk. Quiet area. Spar nearby for supplies. Recommend.

Highly recommend for a peaceful getaway

Pros: This was a lovely stay! Easy to get to and check in went smoothly. Very clean cottage and village. The kitchen is well stocked, bedrooms are carpeted and plenty of blankets! The village folk were also very lovely to talk to.

Cons: The opposite neighbour

Pros: We had the best stay at Lavender Cottage. The cottage had everything we needed and it was very cosy and comfortable. The village was excellent with the friendliest locals. We can't wait to come back one day.

Cons: Nothing!

Happy and cosy little spot with loads of good walks nearby

Pros: It was very cosy, didn't use the stove but the electric heaters provided did a good job. Beds were very comfy with nice thick blankets. Loads of books and board games if you get caught out by a rainy day.

Cons: Parking space was a little narrow but they can hardly change that. TV was amusingly small but we didn't come up here to watch TV so not really an issue.

Pros: Incredibly quaint and quirky olde style stay Beautiful surroundings and cosy vibes

I was there to rediscover family from 240 years ago and the cottage was very in synch with the visit

Pros: Exactly as we expected and wanted. Very traditional and a welcome change from glass and plastic 😀

Cons: Everything was fine for the location.

Comfy well-equipped cottage in a lovely small town.

Pros: Very good location, near the centre of the attractive small town. The cottage was very well equipped with comfy chairs and beds. There were books to read and a parking space.

Cons: No real problems, but note that there are steep stairs which would be a problem for some people. It is a pity that there is a glass partition between the toilet and second bedroom.

Relaxing stay in a truly lovely and characterful cottage.

Pros: We loved this quirky, welcoming little cottage. It had real character. We had everything we needed and the location was perfect - beautifully quiet too. It had parking, which is such a bonus. The beds were comfortable and we wished it had been cold enough to light the log burner. Clun is a lovely, tranquil place and Shropshire a stunningly lovely county. We attended and enjoyed the Green Man festival- great fun, and then enjoyed castle visiting and beautiful countryside as well. Highly recommended. I think we will be back.

Cons: Nothing.

Pros: The cottage is a lovely quaint little place with a stone flagged floor that gave it that period look. Log burning fire in the front room added to the look and also when lit it heated up the room very nicely. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and also had a period look. The main bedroom was large in size and the 2nd bedroom was large enough to sleep comfortably.

Cons: The bush by the front door could be cut back a little as it was in the way slightly. The little gate was not as easy to bolt as it could be.

Lovely cute cottage in charming village

Pros: Cute cottage in a charming village, plenty of room for me on my own but would be fine for 3 people too. Take your own supplies though as no milk but there is tea/coffee. Comfy beds & warm, radiators and log fire.

Cons: I was expecting a small carton of milk but luckily I’d bought some on the way. There is a shop at the bottom of the hill though and a spar further in the village.
