Finest Retreats - The Grove Annexe

Amazing

Pros: We liked everything about The Grove Annexe It was exceptional It was very clean and well equipped Towels ,toiletries and even dressing gowns on hooks on the back of the bathroom door The kitchen was very well equipped with all equipment and crockery for self catering also plastic glasses for outdoors The garden outside was very pretty and well maintained and the hot was amazing The Robins came regularly whilst we were enjoying the hot tub and the completely private garden We had our own parking space and WiFi Grove Annexe was conveniently situated for exploring the beautiful Shropshire countryside and near to Ludlow racecourse which was one of the reasons why we were in that area Thank you Pauline and Paul for greeting us when we arrived and for being such lovely hosts We would definitely return and wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Grove Annexe for a week stay like us or even a few days

Fabulous stay in a well equipped and comfortable cottage

Pros: It was a lovely comfortable cottage with everything we needed for a break away. The bed was comfortable and it was very homely. The hot tub was lovely. Pauline and Paul were fabulous hosts and made us very welcome.

Cons: Due to my mobility issues, I did struggle with the outdoor steps a little, but there are hand rails to all the steps so not a complaint, just a for info for people with mobility issues.

Very warm welcome. Thoughtful touches with amenities. Maps provided a great start for exploring

Pros: Warm welcome and helpful touches for ease of arrival and settling in.

Cons: The mattress dips a little inwards to the middle. We both found we were rolling inwards at times.

Amazing stay in a beautiful property.

Pros: Beautiful property, clean and well equipped, lovely friendly owners, hot tub was great.

Cons: Bed was only a double, a king bed would be a good investment

Pros: The location was central for us to explore the area. The property was beautiful, spacious rooms, the kitchen was very well equipped, everything had been thought of. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this place,the hosts are very nice and friendly and I would definitely rebook.

Great base in the Shropshire hills

Pros: Beautiful cosy place, great hosts, brilliantly appointed. I would absolutely go back given the reason to be in the area.

Recommended cottage

Pros: The Annexe is a very well equipped, comfortable cottage. which is an ideal base for much that Shropshire has to offer, being within easy reach of Shrewsbury and Ludlow. Stokesay Castle (which shouldn't be missed) is minutes away. The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed, including the fantastic hot tub. We had a really relaxing break and would not hesitate to return and recommend to others.

Cons: The only negative point was the bed, which was standard double and smaller than we are used to.

Pros: The property was exquisite—beautiful, clean, and equipped with all the amenities one could need. However, the highlight was the stunning garden, which featured everything you could imagine: a hot tub, barbecue, lounge chairs—you name it, they had it all. This place is perfect for a relaxing holiday. Our host, Pauline, warmly welcomed us, handed over the keys, and gave us a tour of the house. She even provided a lovely welcome pack, which was a thoughtful touch. We absolutely loved our stay here and will definitely return. If you're considering this property, trust me—the pictures don’t do it justice.

Cons: The mattress could have been more comfortable

The nearest location for the wedding we were attending, no transport required.

Pros: Not applicable self catering, we found every thing we needed.

Pros: The Grove Annexe was very cozy and private, it was very spacious and had everything you could thing of needing catered for. The hot tub was undercover so you can enjoy it what ever the weather. The hosts were very friendly and made you feel welcome, thank you for an amazing stay, We will definitely be back
