Picture Perfect Forrest Escape

Pros: Wonderful accommodation. My only disappointment was I snagged tickets to the Wrexham game so I left only after a night. Wonderful beautiful location. Exceptionally well appointed, comfortable and warm. Excellent kitchen comfortable lounge room and the starling worked well enough to stream a movie. Would love too spend a week there.

Cons: 1. Not really a fault, but if going there in winter you will need an all wheel drive with winter tyres. We did so no issue. 2. Needed a bit more wood for the fire

A lovely short stay that allowed us to unwind and relax.

Pros: The cottage was very well equipped for all our needs. We especially enjoyed the hamper gifted to us by the hosts.

Cons: Little bit too far out for our family as had 2 14 year old girls and saying out was a hike

Pros: Great location, very remote and in beautiful countryside. The cottage was very well equipped and comfortable. There was a lot of information provided about local walks and the area.

Pros: The stars were beautiful saw the milkyway and its such a lovely place to stay , fully equipped with everything , really remote, roads were tighter as it's in a forest, so be aware of that when driving but we enjoyed the drive as the forest was magical! We would definitely come back!

Blissful remote retreat in a cosy and convenient home full of charm and character.

Pros: We had a fantastic stay. Hermon Bach offers a sublime retreat surrounded by stunning hillside and woodlands accessed up a single track lane. The home is incredibly characterful and cosy with everything you could need provided for your stay. The rooms are beautifully and thoughtfully decorated and retain all their original character whilst offering reliable and convenient modern devices and facilities. We particularly loved the deep bath, hot shower and comfy beds! We were also especially touched by the hugely generous and thoughtful welcome pack of foods and drinks awaiting us on arrival. The check-in and check-out via lockbox was seamless and communication and access to information was clear and comprehensive throughout. I recommend Hermon Bach without reservation and would be delighted to stay again!

Excellent cottage in a stunning location. Perfect for a family or couple stay.

Pros: Beautiful place, clean and welcoming. Extra trips were a great touch.

Cons: Not enough hot water if someone had a bath.

Pros: The location was perfect for a 'getaway from it all' holiday. Hermon Bach, had all we needed to spend a wonderful week there. I would definitely recommend a stay as we felt rejuvenated, contended and happy there. 10/10.

Fabulous location and cottage

Pros: Everything !! I’ve never stayed in a property so well equipped .

Cons: We were cold as we didn’t expect such cold weather in June/july . The fire wouldn’t light due to few fire lighters and no kindling being available .

Pros: Schönes geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Haus mit einer sehr guten Ausstattung. In der Küche findet man alles, was man zum Kochen braucht, für die Kleidung gibt es in jedem Schlafzimmer eine Kommode, das Haus war angenehm warm und der Vermieter war sehr gut erreichbar und hat sich um unsere Anliegen gekümmert.

Cons: Entgegen vieler Bewertungen war das Haus leider nicht ausreichend sauber. Es gab viele Staub- und Spinnenweben, die dort nicht erst seit kurzem gewesen sein können und es gab noch einige Spuren vom Vormieter. Die Lage im Grünen an sich war super. Allerdings ist es recht tief und einsam im Wald (es nur gibt einen direkten Nachbarn), was man mögen muss.
