Excellent house with great location.
Pros: This place is a hidden gem. Very private and large house with all the items you need for a chill relaxed time. I stayed 3 nights with my family, and we had an excellent time. I would definitely book this house again.

Pros: Location was nice and quiet Property was lovely, perfect for a big family. Loved the log burner and had plenty of logs. Local pub is worth a visit Will definitely visit again
Cons: No gas on the first night and the property was extremely cold but engineer came out straight away and put heaters in each bedroom. Problem was fixed next morning. We were very grateful for the log burner and plenty of logs.

We all had an excellent time. Plenty of sun was a big plus, and would return for another big family
Pros: Moorings was well equipped, spacious and very comfortable. Out of the door in 2 minutes you were on the beach, which was uncrowded. The on line description does not reflect the outside space at the Moorings. A large grass lawn (bumpy) at the rear and a lawn at the front with picnic table and bench, where you could watch the world and the miniature train go by, no sea view though because of the seawall.
Cons: Moorings, probably, could do with some updating, but it had its own charm. It felt homely, like a visit to a relative.

Perfect
Pros: Great property and location. A few local shops and a couple of nice places for a drink. Beautiful area. Anything you would possibly need for a great time away.
Cons: Beware of nesting seagulls 😀

Pros: Loved the Moorings....it was spacious and cosy. Loved the fact that it still has it's original features from the 1930/1940's. Lots of books and games avaiable. Location was perfect as opposite a dog walking beach, which was perfect for us. Beds really comfy.
Cons: I loved all of it.

An enjoyable stay
Pros: The room was clean, comfortable and spacious. The shower was brilliant. Not only did it work perfectly, but it must be the biggest shower I've ever seen in a hotel. The chambermaid was very helpful. The bar/restaurant has a nice balcony which overlooks the marina. It was good to see that they had a well-kept real ale available, The food in the restaurant was quite acceptable, as was the price. The location was good; less than ten minutes' walk to the pier where you can get the bus, or the ferry to Southampton. It's also where the town starts. There are plenty of pubs, shops and restaurants there.
Cons: Very disappointed by the continental breakfast. The cereals were all of poor quality and highly sugared. The fruit had run out on the second morning, and there wasn't much of it available on the first morning. The liquid in the jugs was, I assume, supposed to be some sort of fruit juice. I have no idea what it was, but it was undrinkable. On a positive note, there was endless toast and tea or coffee and the service was good.

Pros: Excellent location! Huge communal family areas. Everything you could possibly need. A little dated, but comfy beds, spotless bedding and towels.
