Pros: Location was tranquil, views excellent and facilities great. Shower was hot and powerful.The Hand pub in the village was excellent.

A quiet getaway

Pros: We wanted a quiet and secluded area, and we were not disappointed. A lovely home overlooking a field with a small river and sheep. One pub (with the most amazing food) across the street and a shop a few miles down the road. The bed was comfortable. Tea and coffee were available. Peter, the owner, went out of his way to ring prior to our arrival to ensure we took the best route into the village. The heating was on when we arrived. There were books, dvds, games, and binoculars available to use. We loved this place and would recommend it to anyone.

Cons: It's not really a dislike at all but rather a comment. It is a bit tricky driving to the property due to the narrow driveway. We couldn't find the bins until we were literally leaving.

We had great, very relaxing week in the Llanarmon DC, will definitely return in the future.

Pros: Great Location , nice cottage, everything you need, very comfortable bed and great view from the balcony up the valley, the host's are very helpful & friendly. The Village has two good pubs, The West Arms isn't open much so didn't get to try any food but it does have a great beer garden with beautiful view. The Hand is excellent for food, although a bit on the pricey side, but at least it's open all the time. The Village is approx. 20-30 mins from Oswestry & Llangollen (the nearest towns with supermarkets) and the roads in the area can be \

Pros: Beautiful quiet location in a small village with two good pubs, what more could you want. Comfy with everything we needed. Lovely balcony overlooking the countryside.
