There will be our 4th time and we are looking forward to it
Pros: This place is comfortable, warm, clean, and well-equipped for a stay. We loved the festive touch of Christmas decorations and the delicious mince pies. It's also great to see the patio door added since our last visit.
Cons: Hmm.. The cable TV box is a bit tricky to connect.

Pros: Our stay at this cottage was lovely. The cottage itself was immaculate, and it was clear that a lot of care had gone into its upkeep. Everything was provided, and the appliances were all in perfect working order, making our stay incredibly comfortable. Jane was really helpful with the directions, information and any queries we had. The check-in and check-out process was seamless, adding to the overall ease of our experience. But what truly made this trip special was the cottage's itself. We wholeheartedly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway. We can’t wait to come back.
Cons: Nothing.

Beautiful cottage and location
Pros: Absolutely stunning location. The views from the garden and dining room are spectacular! We really enjoyed watching the sunset changing the colours of the surrounding mountains from red to pink, and soooo many stars at night! The walks from the cottage are fantastic - with views across the wild mountains and towards the sea. Internally, the cottage is very well furnished and has all the equipment you need to enjoy lovely meals in.
Cons: Although it was an incredible location and cottage, there is one thing that would stop us revisiting. Unfortunately, the central heating is controlled by the owner remotely. We must've stayed in nearly 100 holiday cottages across the UK and have never experienced this. I'm not sure what the reason for this is, but having to message the owner to turn on the heating felt really awkward to us, and certainly detracted from the luxury retreat aspect of our stay. The owner did turn the temperature up when we explained that the thermostat being in the much warmer upstairs part of the house (in rafters, where sun had been hitting roof all day) was stopping the heating coming on at all in the much colder downstairs (clear day = cooler night), but it just felt weird and like we couldn't be trusted. We only usually have heating on for 1 hour in morning and evening, so because we couldn't turn it off from the automatic settings, we had to run around turning the individual radiator valves off/on, which was a bit of a faff tbh.

Pleasant and interesting. Would have stayed longer had time permitted and would stay again.
Pros: The location is outstanding. The accomodation is all it claims to be. 😊
Cons: Didn’t need heating while we were there apart from briefly using an electric heater as the weather was good. Having said that, the heating being remote controlled by the owner felt tight-fisted and sends a vibe that you are not trusted - we haven’t come across that one before………
