Great cottage in countryside location

Pros: Great cottage in rural location. Bernie our host met us on arrival and was very welcoming and helpful thoughout our stay. Accomodation was comfortable with all modern conveniences. Nice to see the 3 ducks swimming in the pond. Close to Bala, Snowdon & LLangollen by car.

Pros: Lovely peaceful location. Cottage was cosy & warm. Powerful shower. Host was very helpful & sociable.

Great cottage to hide away from the rain - well equipped and clean

Pros: Location on the hall's estate, overlooking parkland trees, duck pond and wood. Great cycling roads, lakes and mountains to explore nearby

Cons: The living room is dark and the decor is a little dated. I also struggled to find the cottage (perhaps was not sent the info on booking.com) - go through Pale Hall entrance, go into the farmyard gate and its at the end of the windy track through the farm

Cosy clean cottage sufficient for a small family

Pros: A cosy clean cottage. Fully equipped with all the facilities and adequate essentials. Very quiet location. The host was friendly and helpful. There was a swallow's nest directly above the bedroom window, which made our day, the pond was drained for cleaning when we stayed, but the surounding is beautiful, especially the ducks.Easy to find the cottage simply drive into the grand entrance for Pale Hall hotel and immediately take a left turning.

It exceeded expectations. Yan, Bernie, and Charlie the cat are lovely.

Pros: The cottage was great, very clean, decorated well, and the beds were comfy. You can drive 10 minutes to bala for any shopping and to spend time at the lake. You can walk to the River Dee which is round the corner. Charlie the cat is the friendliest and the ducks waddle around happy. Llanderfel is small and makes for a nice walk, the church allows sheep to graze on church grounds. I wish I could've stayed longer.

Lovely cottage and great value

Pros: Great location for visiting the Bala area, in a tranquil, unspoilt setting. Wildlife abundant and some amusing domesticated ducks and sheep in the farmstead. The cottage is delightful and semi-rustic with all the facilities needed for a getaway break.

Cons: The only slightly off putting thing is the initial approach to the cottage where there are an assortment of old vehicles and ancient caravans in storage plus a few dilapidated outbuildings.

Pros: Great cottage have been before. Owners lovely. Beds comfy. Grandson loved it. Good fast shower. Lovely countryside. Lovely and quiet. Love the ducks in the pond. Thanks wendy kev and logan. X

Fantastic little cottage in a great location. Will go back.

Pros: Location was Fantastic, really good pub a minute walk away. Great drinks and food. Perfect cottage for what we needed at a great price. Nice and warm all the time and plenty of hot water. Great log burner in the lounge. Plenty of space in bedrooms and bathrooms for a small cottage.

Cons: Could do with a few more cups and plates etc and a sharp knife.

Pros: Tranquility fantastic.Basic but a good base for locality.

Cons: No foot stool available to raise legs for evening comfort.
