Elan Valley Welsh - The Sheepfold

Beautiful views, comfortable accommodation and a wonderful time had by all.

Pros: Perfect location, peaceful and loved red kites and sheep in the field. Garden was sunny and quiet. All facilities were great, hot tub nicely maintained however could do with a small table to put drinks on while in hot tub. The lodge had all kitchen appliances and utilities that I needed. The lodge was modern and mostly to a good cleaning standard (there was some crumbs in cupboards and in the groove on the cupboard doors). The lodge could do with a clock that worked and also more wardrobe or drawer space. Maybe some hooks on back of the door to hold wet towels would be good too. The beds and sofa’s were very comfortable with high quality bedding and the lodge was always warm. Overall the lodge was an extremely nice place to stay and I would not hesitate to go back. We had a fabulous time, thank you.

Cons: More wardrobe space, hooks for wet towels and a working clock.

Perfect place for a trip to mid wales

Pros: House was fabulous and so clean and everything you could possibly imagine was there.

The cottage is absolutely stunning and in such a beautiful location! - we will 100% stay here again!

Pros: Loved the extra touch of holiday decorations since we were there over Christmas. Loved the usb outlets around the cottage, as it made for easy charging. Loved the hot tub! Loved having a kettle and teapot! Loved having pots and pans, oven baking sheets, and a fridge.

Cons: There really isn't anything we disliked, but here are some things that would have just make it even better. - a drying rack for our wet clothes. - a place to put things in the shower, that is elevated and easier to grab shampoo and such. - the windows in the main space seemed drafty, so we got a little chilly. - had no idea which switches did what, how to work the electric floor, etc., whether we should put the trash in the can outside or the dumpster at the entrance - so would have loved a little bit of info to help with those unknowns.

Pros: It was in a lovely quiet spot.. convenient to where I was visiting family. Although the weather wasn't excellent, I still got to use the hot tub..the facilities were well equipped.

Cons: The beds were a little short and as a tall man at over 6ft 5 inch tall it was a little uncomfortable.
