Attractive cottage

Pros: We are two active pensioners and had a lovely 4 night stay here, being blessed with gorgeous weather. The cottage is situated on a sort of ridge between two valleys and the views from the decking are wonderful. The interior has been lovingly and tastefully renovated and had pretty much everything we needed. If there was a hairdryer though, we didn't find it, so take your own. There was a lovely welcome pack too which we appreciated. Outside there is good parking and a private garden with colourful shrubs.

Cons: There was nothing not to like. We used the cottage as a base for visits to attractions the north and east (and also a local waterfall). Generally everything we wanted to see was a bit of a drive away, of say 40 minutes to an hour, but we had deliberately chosen a more remote location as that is what we like. Other people may possibly not like that. We would like to return off peak season, when prices are hopefully lower, and do our exploring to the south and west.
