Cam O'r Fechan Annexe

A brief walking and exploring the local area holiday.

Pros: Excellent hosts, very welcoming and full of area knowledge. Very comfortable accommodation, with off street gated parking. Ten minute drive into Llangollen. We also liked the views from the accommodation, looking over the valley with a view of the abbey ruins. Excellent location being off the main road, with easy access to many points and places of interest. We would certainly recommend this accommodation and would certainly rebook at another time, when we are visiting Wales again.

Cons: Just two minor points, the on-suite shower room light, which is a sensor light. This comes on when entering the room, not so bad during the day, but during the night as well. The downside is that it lights up the bedroom as well. The hosts are aware of this, and have tried various options at finding a solution. The other point is the lack of storage in the bedroom. For us staying just a few days, it wasn't a problem. A for longer stay, being able to take your clothes out the your luggage would have been beneficial. There is a bedroom cupboard with hanging space only.

Lovely property in a great spot.

Pros: The Annexe is perfectly situated just outside the town (20 mins walk) with great views, including of Dinas Bran. Spotlessly clean and with everything you need., and friendly and helpful hosts. Outside area would have been great to sit in, had the weather been a little better.

Perfect Gataway

Pros: Lovely location and a lovely property, everything was clean and we had everything we needed. I Didn't bring an Iron but when I asked the hosts it was provided for.

Cons: There wasn't anything I we didn't like because it was perfect. But if there was a criticism it would be that the TV was on the small side.

The ideal getaway. Peace and quiet .

Pros: The property is exceptionally clean and well laid out to a very high standard, with easy access. Facilities are also extremely good.Hosts are very friendly and approachable.

Cons: The property is a 20 minute walk from the town of Llangollen with a slight hill involved,so may not suit someone with mobility or health issues.

Pros: The comfort of the annex, everything you needed, the location, off road parking,all in all a lovely place to stay. will be back.
