Quiet retreat close to the coast

Really enjoyed our stay in this pretty cottage. Only wished we could have stayed longer.

Pros: Very pretty cottage in quiet lane close to beach, well-stocked shop and bars. Clean facilities, comfortable bed, small garden with garden furniture, well-fitted kitchen.

Wow! Wonderful

Pros: Everything. We couldn't fault the cottage. It was absolutely perfect for an overnighter. We wanted to stay longer!

Cons: Genuinely, there was nothing about this house that we didn't like. The whole place was just so clean and cozy!

Pros: Quiet area. Cute cottage near a pub and shop. 5 mins drive from the beach. Comfortable clean bed. Small secure garden, dog friendly accommodation.

Cons: The wooden stairs are a bit steep if you have mobility issues. Limited parking.

A beautiful bolthole of quirky comfort

Pros: Location was wonderfully quiet at the end of a small street. Parking was close, by the church, one house away. The blue doored, ivy strewn cottage was small, intimate and gorgeously quirky. We loved it, only wish we could’ve stayed longer. A beautiful bolt hole of comfort. Convection microwave cooked our Welsh pasties to perfection, stove top cooked our new potatoes, lovely wine glasses and a cosy couch- perfect. Bed was super comfy and bathroom was well designed. The garden was very pretty but we didn’t have the time, or the weather 😊, to sit outside. The beach is a 20 min easy walk away. Surfers were having a blast……We plan to return!

Cons: There is a washing machine but no dryer, only being there for one night we had hoped to do some washing - this wasn’t possible. Also the visual tool on the kitchen bench monitoring how much power you are using was uncomfortable and watching it tick over was the only thing in the entire cottage that was awkward. I didn’t want to feel concerned/worried about the owner’s power bill whilst cooking a simple meal….and I was! Despite this minor detail, we had a fantastic one night, and would go again in a heartbeat.

Pros: Simply stunning, our first comment to each other was....we are moving in :) clean, well equipped, quirky :)

Cons: The kitchen is lovely but with less equipment the space would be easier to use, maybe reduce the amount of crockery etc on the worksurfaces
