Ideal for those who want to get away from it all.

Pros: Stunning location, very quiet, with magnificent views. Very peaceful, with some wonderful walks nearby. The property was extensively equipped and comfortable.

Cons: There was nothing to dislike.

Swallow Barn is a stunning cottage for a cosy weekend with friends.

Pros: The property is beautifully located and perfect for a weekend getaway away with friends (and a dog). Lovely hosts! We cooked and had all the utensils we needed. We were very comfortable.

Cons: The very well equipped kitchen would benefit from oil and vinegar for the guests and the showers from some shower gel.

Pros: Lovely place, the highlight of our trip, wish we could have stayed longer, it was so relaxing. Beautiful place and surroundings. The owners’ two dogs and cat who came to hang out on our doorstep and be cuddled was an extra treat, pure relaxation:)

Cosy and peaceful

Pros: Great peaceful location, beautiful views over the valley, thoughtfully and comfortably furnished, friendly host and some lovely (steep!) walks nearby. The games room was well furnished, though the table tennis table was broken when we went and the pool table was uneven, which was a bit disappointing. Some of the leaflets and menus could do with refreshing too. Overall the place was lovely and we'd be happy to book again if we decide to return to the area in the future.

Pros: Everything, the layout, the interior design, the log burner. We loved it here, everything was perfect for us on our mini break.

Cosy Weekend Break

Pros: We really enjoyed the nature and comfy feeling the accommodation provided. Kate was really friendly and accomodating. Was so nice to arrive to a warm and well lit cottage. Being dog lovers it was great to spend some playfull time with Kate's friendly dogs.
