Wonderful stay, highly recommend.

Pros: The house was amazing, the location was excellent, short walk into Ludlow. Alice was lovely and very easy to communicate with.

Cons: Nothing to improve

Pros: Great location and amazing house. We struck gold here! We all loved the house and views across the hills. It has to be one of the best houses we have ever stayed in, and a welcome pack that we thought was the icing on the cake (not pun intended). Great hosts, let us know when the house was ready. Easy walk into town too.

Amazing, unusual house.

Pros: The space available was superb. Having access to 2 living rooms and 2 bathrooms was ideal as travelled with older parents. Everything we needed was included. Access to extra tv channels was a great help. Parking on drive was very helpful. Great views from rooms. The location was excellent. Ludlow centre was a 10 minute walk or there was a pub/ restaurant at the top of the street which was 5 minutes walk away.

Pros: Beautiful house, very quirky and so unique! What a privilege to be able to visit and stay in such a place. Ideal for staying in Ludlow, only a 15 minute walk into town. 2 parking places and so much space! Loved it and hope to return :)

Cons: It's a quirky period property but we had everything we needed for our stay - might not be for everyone, but we loved it. Very charming.

A nice place to stay

Pros: A rather quirky house with nice views from the living room. It’s lacking a bit of tlc and the kitchen in the cellar was a it difficult for the elderly people in our party. The table isn’t really big enough and not very comfortable to sit down for a meal. We had real trouble getting the gas fire going in the living room. The garden can’t be used as there is building or repair work going on. It takes about 15 minutes to walk into town. The owners kindly agreed to bring our guide dog what was much appreciated.

Home from home with eclectic decor. Fantastic place to relax in

Pros: Quirky x felt like I had waked into a warm home x loved all the personal belongings books to read, games to play and of course the piano to enjoy Arga stove was fun to learn how to cook with

Cons: The outside garden area is under repair so was a bit hazardous Lights in bathroom flickered and bulbs needed replacing

Fabulous family gathering in a memorable place.

Pros: The house is brimming with character and we loved the aesthetic. Felt immediately at home. Beds were comfortable with excellent quality bed linen and towels.

Cons: The two tvs were a struggle to work…this was only an issue as we had an elderly relative who wanted some quiet time watching tv whilst the rest of us were out and about.

Beautiful spacious house in a great location - a great place to catch up with friends.

Pros: The house was beautifully spacious, plenty of room for 3 couples. The Aga made the kitchen lovely and warm and once we had the heating turned to auto the house was beautifully warm too. the bedrooms were nice and big with lovely fluffy towels to use. Views from the house were spectaculor and the walk into town easy. Great location for sightsing and plenty of eating choices in Ludlow.

Cons: Generally everything was good - some small attention to detail could improve things. E.g. the kitchen cupboards/drawers etc need a clean out - the drawers had a lot of fluff and crumbs as well useful items & the plate racks had quite a lot of cobwebs and the odd spider or 2! Would have been good to know that the shower in the upstairs bathroom didn't work, but we all managed with the downstairs shower.

Pros: Everything about the stay was brilliant. Quirky house with everything to hand. Apart from kitchen knives!

Cons: No sharp knives for food preparation.
