the garden room

Pros: Beautiful location, with easy access to lots of activities and walks. Really lovely place to stay; accommodation is gorgeous... we especially liked the book nook. Lovely big comfy bed and everything you could need provided.

Cons: There was nothing we didn't like, but it's not the ideal property if you're tall! The bathroom especially has limited standing room; me and my partner are around 5.5ft and couldn't use the shower comfortably... didn't bother as we were quite happy to use the bathroom but may be an issue for some

Perfect cosy apartment in a quiet rural setting

Pros: I had a great stay at The Garden Room. I needed somewhere to stay whilst I came up to study at university for the week and this was perfect. Arrived late but the hosts gave me easy-to-follow directions and even put the heating on, so I had a very warm apartment for my arrival. Has all the facilities you could need and the bed is so comfy - had a great sleep. All in all, I would absolutely stay here again (especially for the complimentary biscuits!). The Hosts have done a beautiful job of the place.

Pros: A lovely warm and comfortable apartment with a well appointed kitchen. Very handy for all the local attractions. Large comfy bed!

Cons: The bathroom would be difficult for anyone with mobility problems or who had trouble getting in and out of a bathtub - a small point

Pros: Loved the garden room and the hosts were very friendly

Lovely view from nice quirky accommodation!

Pros: It’s in a lovely setting with a great view. The room is quirky, comfortable and very well equipped.

Cons: The step up to the bed area is quite high (I used chairs as handrails!) and the shower upstairs is awkward to be in. It’s not an ideal place for anyone with any mobility issues..

A cabin of dreams!

Pros: The hosts have left biscuits which was really cute, and I loved that there were lots of books to choose from, beautiful scenery and an interior to die for! I was supposed to be staying alone and my partner with his extended family down the road but he ended up joining me as the lodge was much nicer :) Also when I discovered the Wifi, it was super fast.

Cons: I think I missed the memo on shower gel not being provided, and there was only half a toilet roll left so I had to do a bit of shopping. But the hosts made up for that in offering such a lovely room.
