Pigeon House - Unique Barn with private garden

Pros: Everything! Location, close to Shrewsbury but completely quiet. Beautiful decor with luxurious touches. Very well kitted out kitchen, for real cooks. The walled garden. The size and comfort of the hot tub. The gorgeous hand washes. I could go on!!!

Cons: I’ve tried… I actually can’t think of anything.

Beautiful countryside stay

Pros: Our holiday at the Pigeon House got off to a good start when Elaine met us on arrival and showed us around, making us feel very welcome. The interior has been carefully put together to provide a very lovely holiday home with everything you might need being provided. We lit the log burner but the underfloor heating was warm enough on its own. The bed deserves a special mention as it was super comfortable and we slept so soundly! Our stay was for a family get together and birthday, and this property is ideal for two couples as each bedroom has its own bathroom.

Cons: There was nothing to dislike.

Pros: Came for our mini moon! Beautiful property, well presented and very clean. Hosts are absolutely lovely and couldn’t have been more accommodating. Would 100% stay again.

Pros: Pigeon House is a wonderful escape away. The hot tub is incredible and easy to use. Elaine & Adam (the owners) were very friendly, helpful, and added little thoughtful extras such as crumpets & local butter left in the fridge for us and a bowl of sweets. The shower gel provided is made by a local shop and it's lovely. The garden area is very pretty, the whole place is absolutely immaculate. We would definitely recommend it.

Pros: The most wonderful accommodation to stay at before my wedding! Honestly Elaine has thought of everything and there were so many little touches that made our stay even more special. The rooms were wonderful, everyone who came in commented on how amazing it was! The hot tub was an added extra and the surrounding area is fantastic. Hosts met us and showed us around and were on hand should we need anything. Couldn't recommend it enough!

Pros: Simply superb! One of the best holiday rentals we have used. 10 out of 10! Pigeon House exceeded our expectations. Plus it was so nice to have such friendly and attentive human hosts nowadays. The hot tub was a great bonus as was the private and peaceful garden. Pigeon House had everything you need and more for a stress less stay. Rural but great location for exploring the area. Fantastic weekend away in an absolute fabulous place

Pros: Pigeon house is an absolute hidden gem. The property itself is stunning. The hosts have provided everything needed and more. We have thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would come back in a heart beat. The town is beautiful and it’s lovely to see so many independent businesses thriving.

Pros: Adam & Elaine are the most fantastic hosts. They showed us everything we needed to know even providing crumpets, butter, milk & Prosecco…such a lovely touch then left us to enjoy their stunning property! They have thought of everything you could possibly need to relax & enjoy your stay…we really didn’t want to leave! We were hoping to relax & revive & that’s exactly what we achieved with the help of the probably one of the best hot tubs we’ve ever been in! Thankyou Adam & Elaine

Cons: Absolutely nothing!

Perfect short break, calm and welcoming hosts.

Pros: Country side location was lovely,close to the lovely Shrewsbury, spotless cottage, very modern and well heated, lots of towels, nice touches with tea, coffee milk, cleaning products if needed, all cooking equipment, first aid kit if required, comfy beds, amazing showers, lots of boiling water, outdoor area very relaxing, spotlessly clean hot tub checked daily for cleanliness and chemical balance, parking great and a car charger which wasn’t required for us, no stairs all one level, nice board games, jenga, scrabble and connect 4 all in perfect condition. The owners are wonderful hosts and should be very proud of this place, we are delighted to have been allowed and welcomed to stay at this lovely cottage, we will return when we can.
