Great cottage in a small farm complex with one other and the farm house. Lovely and bright, clean, warm and welcoming

Pros: Easy to find - we were allowed in earlier than the official check-in time, by arrangement. There were all mod-cons, it was very clean and tidy, plenty of towels and bedding and lovely and warm.

Pros: It was absolutely perfect in every way. Both owners are amazingly friendly, including little Enzo the dog. Talog barn is simply stunning and exceptionally clean and comfy. If anyone is interested in visiting here and you get the chance, just go for it. You won't regret it in the slightest

Pros: The barn was clean, excellently well equipped, close to everywhere we wanted to go. Can't wait to visit for the third time.

Warm Comfortable easy chill out space that is very clean

Pros: Views are great, Owners left you to enjoy without invading your space, Warm and cosy place, Beds were very clean and comfortable, NIce open plan Kitchen and sit down lounge. Back garden area was large and easy access with a private patio and chairs. Ample parking for several cars.

Brilliant host and stay!

Pros: We liked the property very much, location was very good, the host was very responsive and supportive. The view was very nice. The property was very warm and everything was very clean

Cons: Nothing was dislikable! - We suggest the host to upgrade his TV with smart features as it allows guests to enjoy/entertain themselves while the weather is not very helpful.

An excellent stay in a beautiful location, and incredibly peaceful , with wonderful birdlife.

Pros: Beautiful location, wonderful views from the the barn window down the valley across to the hills and mountains beyond. Lovely sitting area and dining area with the kitchen at one end. Bedding and linen, towels, bathroom and shower very clean along with the kitchen area. Beautiful barn accommodation with lots of lovely wooden beams and doors. Very cosy atmosphere and very relaxed. We had a Sunday lunch menu at the Bull and Heifer Inn for five people. Food very good, and very friendly and efficient staff. Very busy Pub on the Sunday lunchtime, with a good community feel to it.

Cons: Five of us had met up at Talog Barn for a family weekend away to celebrate our fiftieth wedding anniversary. We wanted to just chilll out for a few days. We had come from three different areas of the country, Derbyshire, Staffordshire, and Bristol to be together for a break away. A few dislikes, mainly that the barn was on the level, but the car parking was on a slope to one side of the barn. Normally not a problem for most people, but as my husband was on crutches and it was a loose shingle type car park, it was difficult to get my husband in and out without help from the family. The bedrooms were lovely but a little compact. and there was only one bathroom with toilet, sink, and bath with shower over. Again in our situation it was difficult for my husband, and if you all needed the bathroom at the same time, it would have been a problem. On departure it was very precise on the time you left by ten o'clock, and the owner did come over to see that we were about to leave on time. The weather was quite wet on occasions, and it was difficult mobility wise to get around with the wheel chair for my husband. We hope the comments made are not taken so much as a criticism but as constructive comments.

Nice short stay

Pros: Nice location good view from the garden. Good amount of space for family with 3 children of varied ages. With good facilities including dishwasher and washing machine.

Cons: Could possibly need a new kettle, only minor fault with the lid. Kids were a little disappointed they couldn't watch the films in the evening in the barn as there was no hdmi cable.
