Absolutely amazing! 5*!!

Pros: I cannot recommend this beautiful lodge more. It was exceptional in every way. We will definitely be booking again. Spacious, light and very well designed lodge with a well equipped kitchen. Very private surroundings and an amazing hot tub to top it off. The bed was comfortable too! We wished we booked more days! ;)

Wren lodge.

Pros: Loved everything about it. The only issue was that the pictures didn't match. For example, I booked what looked like it had a sofa as well as a gas cooker oven. Actually, it was only 1 bed with 2 chairs. Air fryer, microwave and a barbecue grill. I was a little bit disappointed but we made it work. Still happy 😊 was romantic and cosy. Definitely will be returning. Nice gesture with a bottle of champagne some crisps and shortbread biscuits. Amazing little getaway. Have to say the bed was very comfortable. The hot tub was a bonus. Very delighted 😀

Cons: The advertising as I previously mentioned. Cod webs all over. But still worth it.

Lovely cabin, very peaceful and relaxing

Pros: When we arrived the Hot Tub was already warmed meaning we could use it straight away. The Cabin itself was very cosy but as it was only 2 of us this was fine! We had a slight problem with the cabin door as it wouldn't close as it had swollen with the heat. We phoned the owners and they were round very quickly and fixed it straight away! =D

Cons: Unfortunately, on the advert it says there was an oven in the cabin. There was not We had taken food with us to cook in an oven and it had to go in the bin. There was an air fryer and a microwave oven You can't cook pizza in a microwave or an airfryer :(

Quiet and remote, but modern and clean. Peace on earth.

Pros: The size of the lodge was perfect and the location and scenery were beautiful. Jacuzzi was lovely and clean and I suspect it was checked every morning, and kept filled and to the perfect temperature.

Cons: Only tiny things really. The tv was only a free view, maybe a smart tv would of been better gave more options. Then the wooden steps out are rotted/softened, my wife stepped down on the right hand side to get into the jacuzzi and the piece of wood in the middle of the step was snapped on the knot and her foot got trapped underneath and I had to free her. But it's a lodge in the outdoors, surrounded by nature and a pond, so things are going to need replacing. This took nothing away from us having an amazing 10year anniversary. And thank you.
