Bunny Lodge 30 - Riverside

Pros: Location was great, the property was clean and even though we took our own just in case, they had everything that we needed ready such as towels, loo roll, bin bags etc. The heating was also switched on when we arrived which meant it was lovely and warm when we arrived. Jev also came to introduce himself and very thoughtfully gifted us some wine and home baked goods. Loved that the hosts were also very responsive to any questions we had. Property is very close to river and would have been a lovely place to sit out if the weather had been warmer. We had a lovely time and would come back, thank you both!

Cons: The drive is very narrow and quite steep with a drop on drivers side when parked further up the drive (we had 2 cars), something to be mindful of as we arrived in the dark. However, our hosts advised us that we were able to park next door if we needed to, which was very helpful and we parked there in the morning to load the car to leave.

Had a lovely couple of days at Bunny lodge seeing family. Lovely view of river and wildlife.

Pros: Clean, very well equipped, quiet location. Contact with hosts when I had a question - they replied straight away.

Cons: Car parking area was a bit narrow.

Great location for mid Wales.

Pros: Clean, good value, TV that's easy to work - unlike many places we stay!

Cons: Hedge on drive needs trimming

Pros: Have stayed here twice now and will definitely stay again. Cabin is perfect for our stay. All basic amenities provided, clean and cosy.

Peaceful and quiet.

Pros: Lovely little place. Easy directions and access to place. Loved the welcome note and snacks. Heated up well and was neat and tidy.

Cons: Didn't have any daily essentials like shampoo & conditioner, tea sugar, small milk, and bread. Stayed at many self-catering places and have always been given daily essentials available. Can perhaps trim the shrubs a bit more in parking bay.

Pros: Everything about the lodge was perfect definitely home from home with comfy beds, nice hot shower, very clean and well-equipped even brilliant coffee machine Nice touch to have little welcome basket thank you So peaceful and quiet just listening to the birds and babbling river What a switch-off from the world ! The Elan Valley was within driving distance - stunning scenery with Dark Sky Status - our main reason for choosing the area

Pros: Absolutely everything, from the moment we arrived. The river is a stones throw away, then we walked into the lodge - perfect, home from home 👌🏻 We had our two Border Collies with us too (at a Championship Show on Royal Welsh Showground) Mahoosive paws up from William and Jaxon too 🐾 💙💙 🐾

Cons: There isn’t anything not to like about the lodge. The location is second to none, ideally situated on the river, water flowing, geese swimming, birds singing and drinks a plenty 😁 Viki is an amazing host - thank you
