Pros: Excellent value for money. A hidden gem and complete surprise. Amazing location and stunning views from tent. Beds were comfy. Lighting provided. Clean and comfortable. Hosts were really accommodating. I can’t wait to go back with the missus! Couldn’t ask for anything more.

Cons: Nothing was great value for money.

Pros: The location was perfect. We didn't feel the tent was too far from our car and enjoyed the walk. We were welcomed and nothing was too much trouble. We had a fire lit and more wood brought to us when requested. We found the whole experience really peaceful and refreshing. The sound of the trees over the other side of the lake was blissful. We heard the owls at night and many other birds. We particularly enjoyed watching the large number of dragonflies circling In the evening. Visibility of the moon and stars at night was perfect. Everything was as we expected for what we paid for the site. We were allowed to check out later than 10am which was lovely as we both work long hours and the extra time meant a great deal to us so we werent ruled by the clock. The beautiful Pistyll rhaeadr waterfall is close by and we visited before we headed home. Well worth a trip.

Pros: What a place!! Just so peaceful!! If you need a change of scenery- basic needs this is the place to go!! We stayed in the bell tent on the lake side and it was everything I needed to just detach from the world for a night!!

Cons: It’s a trek to the tent from the car - but David the owner is happy to help out with bags and belongings!!

Brilliant stay dream countryside location , friendly owner who can’t do enough for you . We can’t wait to return

Pros: Location was a dream , so quiet and peaceful looking out at the lake . David was brilliant helped us with are bags and made us feel at home . Loverly to talk to .

Cons: The only one thing is the toilet , the portaloo hadn’t been emptied so was full and had an issue trying to use it .

Pure peace and quiet

Pros: What a gem of a location, a working farm miles from anywhere, quiet enough to hear owls at night and fish splashing in the lake, close enough to pubs and Oswestry town for good food and supplies an average of 15 mins. David and Julia the owners are so helpful whether it's getting horses to say hello to getting assistance to get your luggage up the considerable hill to get to peace, and when you get up to your tent, a fire can be organised to complete the experience.. the other neighbours are far enough away as not to even notice. The loo is an outside one for your own use looks out into the Welsh country side

Peacefully relaxing stay Well worth a visit!

Pros: Amazing hosts julie & David couldn't do enough to help you. Very attentative. Great spot for relaxation with spectacular views. Will definitely be returning. My first time camping so we wasn't equipped to make food or hot dri ks.however David was kind and brought us a flask of coffee!! Oh and we purchased a disposable bbq and managed to cook some food.was delicious! Thank you both

Cons: Not a problem for me however if you have mobility problems this would not be any good for you as you have to walk a fair bit up a hill to the pod & tent.
