Chestnut Tree House with Hot tub & Sauna

Much needed re-charge, lovely views, cosy with fantastic facilities

Pros: I loved the feeling of being off grid and enjoying the hot tub with the rain on your face. The sauna was lovely especially looking out of the glass window at the stunning views. So cosy and definitely the re charge I needed.

Cons: The drive to the cabin was difficult after we had come back from dinner. It is very hard to see and would benefit from lighting to see the sides of the drive. My little Peugeot struggled getting up there

Pros: The property exceeded our expectations, we arrived at night so the fairy lights were on and it looked beautiful. Inside, we were surprised to see a microwave, toaster and mini fridge after reading reviews that there was no electricity. There was also a tv and sockets for charging phones etc. it’s so quiet, peaceful and cosy! Everything you need for a relaxing weekend.

Cons: Cleanliness was good, slight issue with toilet cleanliness but nothing major, nothing else to dislike. If you have mobility issues be mindful before booking given there is a climb to the cabin but well worth it.

Lovely place

Pros: So lovely place, quiet, clean. Was nice to stay. We enjoyed in hot tub in the night. Highly recommend 👌

Cons: We were unable to heat up the sauna due to a problem with the chimney . There is something wrong. Our friends has been before here and it was the same problem.

Loved it will definitely stay again

Pros: The property was great totally peaceful and relaxing. Everything you need to escape the world for a couple of nights but close enough to Barmouth to get out and about in the day. I was expecting no electric so that was a bonus!! Views were incredible 😍

Cons: Directions on site not totally clear. Paths were quite slippy

Pros: The private hot tub and sauna is an amazing experience. Its private, basically out of sight of all other cabins, lovely place.

Cons: There was no not water in the shower, but this didn't ruin our stay... the hot tub and sauna more than made up for it

Cons: Its a minor thing, but the listing says fitted kitchen, only found out the night before there is only an icebox that you need to bring icepacks for and a single hob camping stove so it was little time to prepare. We would still have booked it but it would have been easier if we had known from the listing.

A fanstic stay for me my wife and two dogs. Great location for Barmouth visits. I would recommend the site in a flash.

Pros: The cabin was really comfortable. Nice to have our own shower and toilet. Hot tub was amazing. The location was great being so close to Barmouth. We took our two dogs who enjoyed the location.

Cons: Recommendations rather that criticism. It was a mission to find the site and then another to find our cabin! The cabins have small signs on approach that gives the name, unfortunately ours had fell over. We tried 3 cabins before we found ours! Maybe bigger fixed signs would be better. A suggestion if your visiting the site, take comfortable chairs as there was just a small bench outside on the veranda, maybe take some fly spray for inside the cabin and mosquito spray for outside, maybe also pack a toaster.

A wonderful place to get away from it all.

Pros: A lovely secluded place to stay, loved the sauna and hot tub, and kettle!

Cons: We were there for 3 nights and it was raining so lots of wet stuff - an airer would have been a good addition, but I would just remember to take one next time.
