Woodland Cabin with Private Hot Tub

An amazing, peaceful night away with everything we needed

Pros: Perfect quiet night away. The cabin had everything we needed and was cosy and comfortable. The hot tub was secluded and ready heated when we arrived, which was amazing. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend.

I’ll 100% be back. Easy check in, comfy bed and great hot tub. Great area. We’ll 100% be back

Pros: Brilliant location… very peaceful, hot tub was perfect. Bed comfy, no complaints.

Cons: Only criticism is that the blind over the door window wasn’t there, there was brackets so there was previously a blind there

Fabulous peaceful retreat

Pros: The hot tub was great. I liked the little touch of marshmallows being left for us. Location was great for a peaceful night away.

Cons: The pillows were very flat. The description was different from what was there, I did receive a message explaining this however not until after we had booked. Could benefit from having a covered area for hot tub and fire pit.

Relaxing

Pros: Reminded me so much of a trip back home ( i live in forest aswell in Estonia). So rural and natural. Wind and rain falling made it super atmospheric. All facilities inside, very warm to sleep as there is a radiator i didnt expect that! Logs for fireplace are available ( thank you!), hot tube is amazing i spent my evening and morning in it watching clouds go by. I had an amazing single gateaway.

Woodland cabin

Pros: Fantastic location off the beaten track. Cabin was so cute and has everything we needed. Hot tub and fire pit were amazing. It was magical. We will definitely be booking again

Cons: Only draw back is the access road to get to it can be a bit heart in mouth at times and it’s tricky if you meet any oncoming traffic. But you are pre warned of this before you book

A perfect secluded escape from civilisation!

Pros: Lovely cabin, spotlessly clean. The cabin has clearly been recently upgraded as we were expecting no electricity but were pleased to find plug sockets, a fridge and even a TV/DVD player (we've topped up your DVD collection with a few finds from the charity shop in Barmouth!). The hot tub was clean and warm ready for us and isn't overlooked. A few reviews mention struggling to find the place but the instructions we were sent before we arrived were very accurate and we found the site itself, and then our cabin, with no trouble at all. It's a single track road up to the site (just to warn you in case you are terrible at reversing under pressure, like me!) but it was very rare to meet someone coming the other way and there are plenty of passing places. Barmouth is about 10 minutes drive away with all the amenities you could want. The site itself is perfect for bat-watching - we brought our bat monitor and were entertained by them each evening.

Cons: I would be nitpicking to find anything we didn't like, as we had a great stay. As a suggestion, some small shelves would be useful (enough for a mug and your glasses, near the bed), and a step to help get into the hot tub would be useful. We had a problem with a loud set of neighbours (not the fault of the accommodation, our host reacted immediately when we reported it) -just to implore you, if you are booking this place, be aware it's a secluded, quiet site. If you must have a rave in your hot tub in the middle of the night, please go elsewhere. I can't imagine why you'd book a woodland retreat and then spoil it with loud music! It was quite hard to turn the car around in our parking place (in a Punto, so be cautious if you have anything bigger).

Tranquil Stay & Responsive Host

Pros: We had a quiet, relaxing stay in the forest cabin, which was well-equipped with everything we needed - including a full kitchen setup with a fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, hob, and utensils. The hot tub was a standout, and the peaceful surroundings made it feel like we had the whole forest to ourselves. Our miniature dachshund had plenty of safe space to explore around the cabin and nearby paths. The bed was really comfortable, and we slept soundly. The fire pit was a great touch, especially with firewood already stocked and ready to use.

Cons: The shower had a major leak, so we had to limit use to avoid flooding the cabin. Once we let the host know, they responded promptly with an apology and offered compensation, which we really appreciated.
