The Penthouse NY Loft Apartment

Highly recommended apartment in the centre of Barmouth.

Pros: Great location near the beach, pubs, shops. The apartment was very clean and very well equipped, Check-in easy and well explained. Good value for the time of year. Check out time a little early, felt a bit rushed at 10am. Perhaps 11am would be more comfortable. However, great apartment and highly recommended.

Amazing hosts, amazing place, amazing all round.

Pros: The furniture and decor is more up to date than places we have stayed at recently around Barmouth. The bed was so good I cannot put it into words. A real top tier place with A star hosts can’t wait to come back. <3

Cons: There’s absolutely nothing to fault.

Great location, beautiful apartment.

Pros: Excellent location, steps from the station, shops and restaurants, beach and harbour. Beautiful apartment, finished to a high standard. Everything you could need and more.

Cons: There are steep stairs, but worth the climb for the views.

Pros: Lovely venue in the centre of the town. Very friendly host. Facilities from tea to washing soap and towels and bedding was A 1, even a gift of Bara Brith so thoughtful.

Cons: I have walking difficulties, the the stairs were an issue for me and didn't realise when booked. This needs to be flagged the host had said he had mentioned it but it isn't clear on the booking site until after booking.

Pros: Great apartment with everything you need. Ideal location with a parking pass for the main car park just a few minutes away.

Cons: I knew it was in the penthouse, so I was expecting a few stairs, but I needed oxygen by the time I lugged all my gear up 😆

Amazing

Pros: Loved the location as it was literally a 2 minute walk from the beach. Amazing apartment did not expect it to be so big and spacious. Very comfy and very clean.

Cons: Just the noise as the apartment is located in the heart of town but that is something you can't control. Also just a suggestion it would be great to have some halal restaurants listed.

Pros: Location was perfect and so central. Beautiful apartment which had everything we needed! Loved the added extra of not having to worry about parking. Barmouth beach has beautiful sunsets which we loved! Owners were lovely and welcoming. We couldn’t have wished for a more lovely few days away!

Cons: The stairs to the bedroom are very steep, so be aware of this before booking (we were aware and just took it slowly). We are aware there is nothing the owners can do about this and it didn’t disrupt our stay. Did find the bed and sofa uncomfortable but could have been due to me being 30 weeks pregnant, and finding most things uncomfortable now!

Great place to stay for the week, easy access to the spectacular scenery of Wales.

Pros: Great apartment with views of the sea in the background. Good location near to trains and buses with shops on the doorstep.

Pros: Well equipped full kitchen. Quirky views over the town. Cosy bedroom.

Cons: Limited headroom over the bed on one side but manageable. Stairs up to the loft bedroom quite steep; it was safer to descend backwards.
