Country Mansion - Private Annexe

Overnight stay

Pros: Mike greeted us on arrival and showed us around if there were any issues he is right next door, but non intrusive, beautiful, peaceful location loved reading the history of the house we would love to return

Cons: Nothing we didn't like

Pros: Very nice location and extremely secure parking. Good facilities and perfect if you just want to get some rest after a busy day.

Pros: We got a little lost trying to find our stay. But the service was great when we arrived. Host came out straight away too introduce and to show us where we were staying. All round great.

Cons: To be honest, it was everything we were looking for.

Wonderful, peaceful, private 'rustic' farmhouse-style annexe, with excellent secure parking.

Pros: Something a little different from your standard holiday accommodation. The annexe is actually a separated two floor small-house. It has a rustic farmhouse feel, so not luxurious, but has a unique charm. The grounds a very quiet and private. There is a handy fridge, freezer, and other appliances. I went in a car so wanted private, secure parking, and this was perfect for that. The owner Mike was friendly, and helpful in messaging before and during stay, and I met him when I was leaving and we had a friendly chat.

Cons: I really liked it this accommodation, and would not hesitate to stay again. If you prefer modern luxurious co-ordinated hotels, this may not be for you. If you want a very peaceful stay and can accept its charming farmhouse style.

Pros: The friendly owner of the property, Mike, met us on arrival, and showed us around the annexe personally, answering any questions we had. It is a self-contained wing of a fabulous old country house, and is extremely peaceful, spacious and well - equipped.

Cons: There are stunning country views from the property, but unfortunately they are mostly obscured by garages and outbuildings. The owner has only recently purchased the property, and it is intended to remove them in the near future. In addition, a little more attention to cleanliness would be beneficial. The previous guests' washing up was still in the dishwasher, and there were loads of cobwebs in all of the rooms !

Peaceful, relaxing and made it a trip to remember.

Pros: I was greeted with a warm welcome in the most wonderful location. it had everything we needed, and more, to make our stay as comfortable as it could be. I was trading in a show nearby with work and the comfort of the annexe helped me dearly in being physically and mentally refreshed for the next day.
