The Nook Castle Street Ludlow

The perfect base for a weekend in Ludlow

Pros: The Nook was perfect for our stay in Ludlow. It is very central and has great views over the market place. Despite the fact that the market starts early we were not disturbed in any way. The apartment is very comfortable (the bed especially so), and is well equipped. We stayed at the end of November and even with the big sash widows overlooking the square it was very warm. Owing to its central location we did not need to use the car during our stay. There is so much to see and do in the town that we were glad we could forget about it. All the main attractions are within easy walking distance. We hope to come back in next year and we would definitely make The Nook our first choice for somwewhere to stay.

Cons: There was nothing we didn't like.

Festive Stay in Ludlow

Pros: The flat overlooked the market square, and we had a lovely view of the shops and market stalls. Very festive listening to the Carol singers. There are plenty of places to eat nearby. It was also handy having the Spar shop opposite for supplies. It was open until 11pm.

Cons: Nothing.

Pros: Erica & Nick were great hosts. Couple of minor problems which were rectified immediately. The flat is great. Very central. If going to Ludlow again, we would certainly check availability.

A room with a view.

Pros: This Apt is central to Ludlow Castle. Easy walking from the door to Ludlow Castle and attractions, shops and restaurants/coffee bars. The Nook is very well equipped for any length of stay, clean and homely. Two large bay windows to people watch!

Cons: No voile drapes in lounge, on view to the street, especially when lights have to be on. Being on the market square, there is early sounds from the stall holders setting up early in the mornings. Sadly the lounge chairs were not comfortable for me.

Pros: The flat was excellent. The bay windows made the main room a delight to be in - great for having a cup of tea, reading a book, and watching the world go by. The bedroom was a good size and the bed was very comfortable. The walk-in shower was decent.

Cons: The flush button on the toilet needed replacing and pinged out of place immediately. Also, for whatever reason, the email with the entry details did not come through. However, the owner was easily contacted and this was swiftly remedied.

Had a lovely visit, prime location and a cosy apartment.

Pros: No breakfast provided. The location was excellent.

Cons: Thought the chairs in the sitting area were not very comfortable. Think a small sofa would be preferable. Xx

Pros: The flat itself was ideally equipped for a holiday. It would be quite feasible to stay for a week.

Cons: The entrance to the building and the area you needed to go through to reach the flat.

Lovely flat in a great location but with a few drawbacks

Pros: Well decorated and equipped in a great central location.

Cons: There was a lot of noise from early morning deliveries to local shops and the market. This started at 5.30am on the first morning and 4.30am on the second. This spoiled an otherwise excellent stay.
