Ty Morgan's Apartments

Worth visiting and great base to explore Elan valley.

Pros: I was given a code by message and the box was close to the door. The property is opposite Coop while is super convenient. I could park on the road, very close to the property. Rooms were big, very clean, sheets and towels nice and fressh. Kitchen was well equipped apart from tea spoons. Lots of soap and toilet paper. Big smart TV, good WiFi. Some might say the decor was dated, I would say it was vintage and charming.

Cons: The area on the top, behind the garden could be a nice car park, it was neglected with an abandoned car and a mattress. Apart from that I like everything.

Pros: After reading some of the negative reviews pleasantly surprised clean tidy bedding spotless plenty of space had Sunday lunch at the lamb and flag would recommend it well worth the money will be booking again for next year

Cons: Beds very hard previous occupants had put pans and dishes away dirty carpet on stairs from kitchen loose needs refitting

A lovely warm apartment

Pros: Very warm apartment in a good location, easy to park on the street opposite. The apartment met our needs and was exceptional value. We hope to return in the future

Cons: A couple of things need attention, namely a cracked washandbasin which also has a running tap. The kitchen would benefit from a couple of pyrex basins and/or a casserole dish.

Good value for the money but, could be easily made better,

Pros: The location was great and the apartment was large. The main bedroom was comfortable and the lounge was large.

Cons: In the second bedroom, the beds were a little soft and low for me. Also, the ceiling needs a bit of attention. The Kitchen, while well-equipped, was missing a dishcloth/scrubbing brush. If the owner wants the guests to clean the pan properly they need to provide these items, also a broom would be useful. The bathroom also needs a hook for towels etc.

Value for money

Pros: The apartment had everything you would need at a good price

Cons: A lot of steps up to the apartment

Old Town feel.

Pros: Access to garden. Spacious, clean apartment. Friendly staff.

Cons: Could've used more tea / coffee / milk. Floors were a bit creeky. Luckily, we had decent neighbours but noise travels easily between floors.

Pros: It was ideal for a couple nights away with family and dogs

Great for exploring Elan Valley !!

Pros: Location, small village with quaint pubs serving quality, home cooked meals. Great place to stay to explore Elan Valley

Cons: No welcome pack, would be nice to have tea, coffee, milk etc available on arrival. Although the apartment is directly opposite a local shop so it was easy to purchase supplies.

Perfect location - great for walking and cycling in the Elan Valley

Pros: The locations is fabulous, right in the middle of Rhayader - easy access to everything. There are 2 good pubs a fish and chip shop and the Ty Morgan cafe/bistro (all owned by the same people!)

Cons: a mirror in the bedroom would be helpful, together with a few more sockets (there are none available in the bedroom (there is just one double socked on the far side of the double room and that has the bedside lamps plugged in ) Also some hooks on the bathroom door and/or a towel rail would be helpful - to hang wet towels

Pros: it was great value for money. The apartment was very comfortable
