Lovely place with an exceptionally friendly and caring host

Pros: Lovely place with an exceptionally friendly and caring host. Loved that there was no television in the room but instead a host who likes talking to her guests! We'll definitely be back again.

Wonderful location for walkers

Pros: Friendly and interesting hosts in a house with superb views. Can walk straight onto Hergest Ridge and over to Kington. Beautiful village and proper pubs for food and a post-hike open fire.

Pros: Jessica was very welcoming, the house was spotless and our room the same. The bed was to die for, I wish I could have stayed another night to make the most of it. I have a vegan diet and I was very well catered for, which doesn't often happen so I was very grateful for this. The location was perfect if you're exploring hay on wye or surrounding areas, would 100% visit again.

Cons: There was no blind on the window above the bed, maybe bring an eye mask if you're staying in the summer months if you're sensitive to light waking you up (literally just something to put in the box).

Friendly host and a quiet getaway with a lovely room.

Pros: The host became a quick friend and was most helpful. We were well taken care of and entertained with Welch hospitality. A bit of a windy road trek but well worth the effort.

Cons: Not a thing.
