Location, facilities, and hosts 10/10!

Pros: We couldn't have picked a better stay for our anniversary! Taking a bath outside while it lightly snowed, then heading up to the cozy cabin that was nice and toasty from the log burner, was a fantastic start to the morning before going on some local hikes. The room was cozy and well-lit, the kitchen had all the essentials and was perfect for meals for 2, and the bed was so comfortable I had to check the label on the mattress so that I could eventually get one of my own! I thoroughly enjoyed the view from the porch and seeing the stars out during the night. A wasp managed to sneak inside, but Benjamin, one of the hosts, kindly interrupted his dinner to save it and let it free outside. Location, facilities, and hosts 10/10! The only thing I'd say to be conscious of is that the sink is outside, so make sure youre okay with chilly fingers if you're doing the washing up outside in winter!

Cons: That we didn't have more nights there!

The perfect weekend escape

Pros: The property is so unique - we booked it hoping for a complete escape and that is exactly what we got. It looks exactly as it does in the pictures and Meg had very kindly decorated it with balloons and birthday bunting at no extra cost. It was perfectly clean, the log burner kept it lovely and warm and it was a great experience having an outdoor shower. Really lovely hosts and we also bought some lovely fresh eggs from them. Would recommend and would definitely stay again!

I would highly recommend it but then I may not be able to book it again...

Pros: Paradise on earth! Very quiet. Positive simplicity. Views. In the middle of a forest. Walking paths around. Goat milk. Fireplace! Bath under the stars!

Cons: It's so busy we couldn't extend our stay ;-)

Great location, hosts and off grid accommodation

Pros: Great location and carriage is brilliant. Well insulated and comfy. It has everything you need. The outdoor shower is great. Fire-pit for warmth and bbq. Lot’s to do nearby.
