A relaxing break in rural Wales

Pros: We liked the remoteness, the location, the cabin's layout, and the cooker's ease. The hot tub was good. Heather's response when we had a problem was brilliant and very helpful. The log burner in the cabin was lovely and made it extremely cosy. The candles were a lovely touch, and especially the bottle of Prosecco on arrival was a lovely gesture. Thank you so much for this.

Cons: The time it took to warm up the hot tub and the extra wood you had to purchase to get it hot. With the amount of flies that came into the cabin, we had to use the spray as we must have had over 40 in the cabin, they just kept coming. You could not leave any food out whilst preparing dinners etc and they were in the bathroom and landing on you whilst you were trying to sleep. (Perhaps a fly screen for the door and windows as this problem has been mentioned before?) Maybe a shelf to put your tinned food etc on would be nice as nowhere to store food if there for a week or more and maybe somewhere to put your clothes rather than keeping them in the suitcase could be good.

Pros: This is an amazing lodge we went for our honeymoon on arrival the was a bottle of champagne which was so thoughtful. The place is so peaceful and the hot tub was out of this world.
