The Pink House

I have every intention of returning. That says it all.

Pros: I liked everything about my stay. The informal friendliness, helpfulness and overall concern about my comfort and well-being by Hannah was just right for me. The house, the room and the location were all stunning.

Cons: There are some aspects (e.g. the outside space) that are currently undergoing improvements. However, it would be clear to any visitor that Hannah and her family have achieved wonders already and I suspect they won't stop until everything is as perfect as they can make it - and that it will be achieved as soon as is possible. I should also say that this aspect did not impede the enjoyment of my stay in any way.

Pros: The location was perfect, we were on motorcycles so the bikes were safe. The property is immaculate beautifully decorated and very clean.

Cons: Breakfast would have been great but not currently offered.

Idyllic and luxurious stay in the Beacons

Pros: Hannah and her family are perfect hosts. The property is unique and beautiful, and the stay was very comfortable. I would stay here again.

Cons: There is nothing.

One of my better stays in Wales

Pros: Very close to Brecon, yet totally quiet and with a view towards the mountains. A well planned and executed renovation/extension. Nice to know that there’s a family with kids. Great welcome by all.

Cons: Signposting but the instructions are good if followed to the letter.

Beautiful rooms and very friendly host.

Pros: We loved staying with Hannah at the Pink House, the bedrooms are decorated beautifully and everything was considered and stylish. We enjoyed the fact that we were staying in a busy family home with a great atmosphere. We were appreciative of the kettle facilities in the landing. The only improvement would be the option of a breakfast bag with crossaint/ juice/ fruit etc or similar like self-service cereal, as although Brecon is only a 10 minute drive away, it is handy to have a breakfast option if you are out for the day and haven't factored in a visit to town. The host made it very clear that breakfast wasn't provided beforehand, so this was not a surprise and we planned accordingly. Hannah had recommended some local pubs and had dinner at the Three Horseshoes in Groesffordd which was delicious but we aware that the kitchen closes at 8pm.

Cons: As above- breakfast option would make this stay 10/10.

Like a gem , hard to find but worth the effort .

Pros: It was a great place to stay , excellent bed and one of the best bathrooms I have ever seen . Hannah was a marvellous host and made us very welcome .

Cons: It is a bit tricky finding the pink house as it’s up a very narrow lane but it’s worth the effort.

Beautiful, relaxing and comfortable stay

Pros: Hannah and family are delightful. The effort put into creating a supremely comfortable and welcoming environment shines through and we felt very relaxed and at home. The location is peaceful and we slept extremely well. The upgrade to the beautiful bedroom with the enormous bathroom was worthwhile and we really enjoyed seeing how this beautiful home is being given a new lease of life.

Pros: The house was set in a beautiful location and the owner sent clear directions so it was easy to find. The room was very spacious and clean and had lovely views. Hannah and her family made us feel very welcome and were very helpful throughout our stay recommending places to eat and providing access to their garden and trampolines which my boys enjoyed. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Pros: Thank you so much to Hannah and family - they looked after us brilliantly! Hannah's communication was prompt, and she provided us with all the info we could have needed to ensure a seamless stay. We were a little late arriving, but Hannah accommodated us exceptionally. The rooms were immaculate - and the bathrooms.. WOW! Stunning accommodation which was clean, private and beautifully decorated.
