Great base for a stay near Bala

Pros: Good location, has everything you need - toiletries, towels, bedding, kitchen utensils. Good size space, fabulous log burner

Cons: Only a very tiny thing, not really a negative, just we ran out of hot water in the shower but there are instructions to boost the system which worked fine. Was just a bit of a shock during the shower!!

Weekend break in Bala

Pros: Lovely peaceful setting. Great facilities very comfortable. Excellent staff and friendly hopefully we will return for another break.

UK travels 2026 Solo

Pros: My cottage was in a beautiful setting, next to a stream, with plenty of trees and in a small farm like village. It was quiet, clean and had all you need to self cater. Bala is close by for shopping or eating out if required. The cottage had a large deck at the front to sit and take in the serenity. I would absolutely recommend staying here for a quiet getaway.

A peaceful getaway with beautiful views and a cosy, welcoming cottage.

Pros: The cottage was warm, cosy, and beautifully kept. Waking up to the snowy garden and peaceful countryside views through the large windows made the stay feel extra special. The place was spotless, well-equipped, and very comfortable, and the quiet setting made it perfect for a relaxing break.

Cons: Nothing to complain about. Everything was as expected and very comfortable.
