Pros: Fabulous house, location and hosts. We had a Japanese meal cooked for us. A wonderful experience.

Fabulous property, attentive owners who want to make sure everything is perfect and a wonderful calm vibe to the cottage

Pros: Exceptional property. Immaculately decorated and spotlessly clean. Kitchen was very well equipped and the sunroom and garden provided plenty of space to relax. If you have the opportunity to have the Japanese meal, all hand cooked and prepared by the owners then don’t miss it, it is superb.

Pros: We loved the location and the space the property provided. The newly built conservatory and outside space were wonderful. Everything has been thought of! The house is super well equipped and we appreciated the welcome basket and the friendly hosts.

Pros: Centrally located in Hay on Wye just 2min walk to castle and all town facilities. Spacious and versatile property with great rainfall showers in the three en-suites and comfortable beds. Characterful outside with easy to use modern interior.

Cons: Nothing to dislike.

Fantastic property in the heart of Hay on Wye

Pros: The property was very comfortable. All the bedrooms were ensuite, the showers worked well and the towels were very good. The kitchen was well equipped and the living space was excellent. The standard of cleanliness was exceptional. The parking was easy and the central location meant everything was in easy walking distance. The hosts were exceptional, welcoming but not intrusive. Kazuko cooked us a wonderful Japanese meal one evening and Simon excelled with the pudding! They also had excellent suggestions for places to visit - the Small Breeds Farm Park , Kington was loved by children and adults equally.

Cons: That we only had time to stay for three nights.

Pros: A fully equipped kitchen was available for us to make our own breakfast. Spacious sitting and dining area. Very comfortable ensuite bedrooms. Very central, everything within 3-4 minutes walk.

Cons: We can't think of anything negative. Everything was excellent.

Incredible stay!

Pros: Simon and Kazuko are incredible hosts. Their communication was excellent throughout the booking and they went above and beyond to ensure we had all we needed for our stay. The property itself is stunning and it was exceptionally decorated for the Christmas period. We can’t wait to return! Thank you.

Pros: Superb facilities our hosts had thought of everything. They are so kind we had the pizza oven and made our own pizzas and Kazuko brought out some lovely Japanese nibbles for starters.

Cons: I can honestly say nothing.
