Pros: Rural location was very peaceful, and the property fulfilled all our expectations, being comfortable, warm and well equipped. My daughter enjoyed the additional warmth provided by the wood burner; I suspect it took her back to her childhood!

Cons: We had no objections or complaints in regard to this accommodation.

Pros: The garden was all around the property and there was plenty of outdoor seating.

Cons: The large entrance hall got extremely hot while we were out for the day. We had to leave the outside doors (there were only doors not windows) in the bedrooms open at night to keep cool. Some of the doors would not fasten fully open. Only one of the 2 fans supplied was working. We visited during a heatwave and none of the above niggles would have been a problem if the weather hadn't been so warm.

As close to peace as you can get

Pros: Such a cosy little retreat out of the way of the everyday buzz of work and home life, perfect for a family or two couples for a relaxing getaway

Cons: My wife didn’t like the access roads but if you want to be out of the way well…..
