Pros: Property was warm, well-maintained and scrupulously clean. The kitchen was well-equipped.

Cons: 1.We sent a message asking whether we might charge our EV at the property. We always pay for the electricity used when we do this. Our question was not answered. When we arrived there was a notice in the information pack prohibiting this. Had we known this at the outset we would probably not have booked this property. We fully understand that some people take advantage and use excessive amounts of electricity, however the reality of public charging is that it is often unsuitable, inconvenient and unreliable and to have permission to charge on site is really appreciated; at the very least make sure that if you don't allow this it is made clear when booking. 2. No welcome pack in the kitchen. Not even a tea bag! We are used to being spoilt with almost everywhere we have stayed over recent years providing tea/coffee/oil/salt/pepper and usually something wonderful from the local bakers. 3. More for Booking.com. Do we have to be bombarded with emails for every booking? In all, we received at least 30 in relation to our stay at this property! Some from you, some from the property managers- really too much! 4. We were told that there was a key safe at the property. There wasn't. We were able to gain access without an issue, but this could have caused anxiety at the end of a long journey.

Relaxing, very clean and comfortable.

Pros: Clean & comfortable, warm and relaxing. Quiet away from busy road. Greta location for exploring mid Wales.

Cons: The booking agency Welsh Cottage Holidays. I made a mistake and booked 26th Feb to 3rd March 2025 and meant to book 25th Feb to 3rd March. I messaged them almost immediately to ask to book an extra night and their reply was yes but I'll be charged £70 admin fee in addition to the extra one night booking. I was shocked! They wanted me to pay £70 admin fee for increasing their sale. I won't be using Welsh Cottage Holidays again or their partners Booking.com who I made the booking through originally and was past through to their partners Welsh Cottage Holidays.
