Absolutely stunning!

Pros: Absolutely incredible views overlooking fields of livestock. Cottage is well furnished, containing lots of information regarding amenities and attractions in the local area and suitably stocked with cleaning supplies. There are books, board games and even DVDs for those rainy days. The local farmer herding his sheep along the road in front of the property was a nice little surprise for us too. The cottage is dog friendly, supplying water bowls and even a small dog bed. The utility room has a clothes dryer, freezer and washing machine, an ideal place to clean off the dog after a walk.

Cons: Not a criticism of the property, but just beware if you are tall (6ft 4 or above) to mind your head on the main support beam that runs through the kitchen/lounge area.

Wonderful cottage, wonderful hosts.

Pros: Absolutely beautiful cottage, wonderful hosts. Amazing location with lots to see and do, and so peacefully quiet! The cottage was beautifully decorated and felt so homely. Had everything you could possibly need. Extremely comfortable beds in spacious rooms, house was nice and warm on a cold evening. Hosts were very responsive and happy to help answer any questions we had. Would highly recommend to everyone wondering, you won't regret the choice and will wish you booked longer! Thank you both for a wonderful stay.

Cons: Cannot fault anything with the cottage or hosts, only slight issue was the gardener arriving at 7:30 - 8:00am on check out day. The dog was alerted and woke the whole house, and we got a little shock when looking outside to see someone in the bushes when we are in the middle of nowhere! We weren't able to let the dog into the garden at all whilst packing away and before a huge drive home.. So it was a little awkward for us, and it was difficult packing and cleaning with 2 kids and a hypo pup under my feet when they could go and play outside. Unsure if it's her usual time to come and do gardening, but maybe during the 6 hour slot after a check out and before the new check-in may work better. Probably nothing to do with the hosts with timing, but it was a slight issue for us personally.

A perfect stay at this lovely cottage

Pros: We absolutely loved our stay at this lovely cottage which has the right name, it is so full of character. It was comfortable clean and had everything we needed. With the weather still being a little chilly it was a bonus cause we got to light a log fire highly recommended

Cons: There was nothing to dislike about this lovely cottage
