Pros: Amazing owner, such a lovely person. We are sad that we didn't ask earlier to play with dogs and feed the sheep, goats and lambs.

Great time enjoying the British countryside, with picture perfect weather.

Pros: Lovely location - very rural with nice walks very close. Only 30 mins across field and footpath to Bishops Castle, a pretty town with lovely pubs. Visited Shrewsbury and Ludlow as well which are both definitely worth a day out.

Perfect, cosy and tranquil stay

Pros: The house was so charming and cosy. It was the perfect location for us as we were visiting my dad who was 5 minutes down the road. The place was clean with all the essentials we needed.

Our comfy Home Base to explore Historic Wales.

Pros: We used the Broughton Stables as our Home Base to explore Hitsoric Wales sites. The accomodation is very comfy and perfectly equipped. Our Dogs were welcomed and enjoyed the pure beauty of the nature surrounding as much as we did. The close by Town Bishops Castle offers suffcient shops to cater the day-to-day demand.

Pros: We were heading to an event 40 mins away and stayed here, wanting a place to relax after early morning starts. This place was exactly what we needed. Quiet and out of the way with the area at the back to chill in. All the basics were provided, with detailed instructions for the oven. The beds were really comfy. The low beams in the bedroom are a lovely feature and the kids were fascinated by the structure. Sofa was very comfy for an afternoon nap, with the window open and listening to the birds and sheep. The blanket in the sofa was a nice touch.

A very well thought out cosy property, with two bathrooms.

Pros: The cottage was well laid out & had all facilities I needed for an extended stay, should I have wanted it.

Cons: The location was a little remote, & we had to duck under beams to go to bed.

lovely stay in the heart of the quiet beautiful countryside

Pros: it was lovely and clean, very spacious, had character, and the beds were comfortable. it was also really quiet in the area and we loved having animals all around, cats/kittens, horses, sheep and goats. it was also really close to our family’s campsite so we didn’t have far to drive every day.

Cons: nothing, everything was fine!
