Upper Heath Farm - Stable Cottage Ludlow

Pros: The location on a farm, clean, beautiful cottage, spacious, two comfy bedrooms and good beds, a bathroom with toiletries and lots of room. Host left us eggs, bread, wine, milk, butter and a cake, lovely touch, also able to have a late check out. Would definitely stay here again, so peaceful.

Cons: The shower does not spray towards the middle of the bath where you are standing and it doesn’t go upwards very much to enhance the spray, so a bit difficult for tall people like us. But a minor issue.

Great family stay!

Pros: Very cosy and ideal for a family. The welcome gifts were very appreciated, everything we could have needed! The owner is lovely and very welcoming.

Lovely stay

Pros: The cottage was lovely, clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed. The surroundings were lovely and peaceful. The games and toys provided were a bonus and the welcome package of cake, wine, eggs and bread was a lovely touch to arrive to. Loved our stay

Outstanding cottage, host excellent but you are in the middle of nowhere and roads are not great!

Pros: very nice cottage everything you needed, cosy warm and comfortable

Cons: the property was excellent but the single file road up to the property was not great! Felt the sat nav took you the wrong way and felt more comfortable going a few miles longer towards Ludlow on a better road!

Pros: Location was quiet and rural. Home clean and tidy. Good facilities.

Overall we loved our stay, and I have already looked to rebook. We will definitely use this time again.

Pros: This property was perfect for us, 1 adult and 2 children. The rural location met our needs perfectly. Plenty of secure parking space outside the property and ample storage inside. Tescos will also deliver here if desired. The kitchen area is a good size with under counter fridge, and a freezer, plus a dishwasher. The ‘nespresso style’ coffee machine was a huge bonus.

Cons: The master bedroom bed could be bigger given the size of the room. I wouldn’t be able to return with my husband, he’s on the larger side and this bed wouldn’t be big enough. The bathroom worked for our visit as it was just myself and my two children, any other adults it may be tricky to access the bathroom via the 2nd bedroom. In an ideal world a washing machine would be good but appreciate it’s not essential. At the time of our visit (Aug25) the kitchen glassware is lacking and could do with a bit more, such as highball glasses. The wine glasses were tiny and I had to borrow one that was fit for purpose! The bbq is a tiny cast iron style, not really big enough to cook on, only a few sausages or burgers at a time. Don’t rely upon that if you are planning a family bbq.
