What a great place to stay if you want to get far from the madding crowd!

Pros: Set on an idylic, listed farmyard, with wonderful hosts, free ranging chickens and two very friendly dogs, in the middle of rolling countryside. Perfect get away location.

Cons: Would have preferred ensuites for every room but two of the bedrooms share a bathroom. I should have investigated more thoroughly. A shelf in the freezer was cracked which made it difficult to pull it out but it's a minor detail.
