Paramount Cottage

We loved our stay in this beautiful quiet spot. The hosts were very friendly.

Pros: We loved the location because it was quiet, just the sound of skylarks. Situated on the edge of Moorland, perfect for walking the dogs without having to drive anywhere.

Cons: maybe the shower pressure could have been better, but we enjoyed the bath instead.

A little idyll

Pros: Fantastic little annexe on the very edge of the common. Wonderful hosts. Had all the necessary items for a comfortable stay.

Pros: It was a nice touch meeting the owners and their dog on arrival. Me and my dog both loved the log fire and she was zonked out in her bed in front of it several times. The bedding smelt so fresh and amazing and the bed was incredibly comfy. The owners left me wine, beers and eggs upon arrival which was unexpected and a lovely gesture. The place was immaculately clean too. I would definitely recommend this little cottage and would love to come back at some point

Cons: There was no WiFi and being young and attached to my phone I struggled but I really enjoyed the time off my phone. The owners apologised over and over for this and even tried to compensate me for this but I refused as it wasn’t their fault. Other than this there was nothing I didn’t like

A cosy cottage.

Pros: The cottage was compact, clean, comfortable and cosy. Paramount cottage is very well equipped with everything you need. The large bed was exceptionally comfortable. The cottage is situated off the country lane, but is easily accessible. It is on a walking route right from the cottage door, ideal if you are bringing a dog. Ludlow is not far away with many eating places for all tastes and budgets. Mick and Marg are very friendly hosts, happy to give advice if needed. We were only there for two nights unfortunately, but would definitely go back again.

Cons: There is nothing I would change except the weather, but you can't order that!!

Lovely stay in the Shropshire Hills :)

Pros: We had a fantastic stay at the Paramount Cottage. The hosts were very friendly and welcomed us warmly on arrival, which is always nice. The cottage was very cozy and had everything we needed for our 3-night stay in the area. The location was very quiet, with some lovely walks starting right from the cottage. It was also a great base for further exploration of the Shropshire Hills. Highly recommend! :)

Cons: There was nothing we could complain about! :)

A wonderful cottage in a beautiful location.

Pros: The location was perfect. Peaceful, amazing views over Ludlow and with plenty of open moorland just up the hill. Perfect for dog walks. The cottage was clean, well equipped and had everything we needed. Marg and Mick were very welcoming hosts and even left beer, wine and eggs in the fridge - so thoughtful. Would highly recommend.

Gorgeous cottage in idilic locatiob

Pros: This cottage is exceptional, photos do not do it justice, was comfy, well stocked and in a gorgeous setting. Came here for some peace and quiet and was exactly what I got. The owners were fantastic and left some eggs and wine which was a lovely touch. Would highly recommend to anyone

Pros: we loved it at paramount cottage, warm welcome and then left alone. perfect. silly things really. I couldn't find a hairdryer because I expected to find it in the bedroom instead of the under the stairs cupboard. more towels would have been appreciated. but we received fresh eggs and a lovely bottle of wine. overall we loved it and the walks were awesome
